Beautiful home with plenty of space for our for our family of 6. The kitchen has everything you need and more. The back yard is awesome with a heated pool and spa. The pickleball court was our favorite. We used it every day. Great location-only 30 minutes from SanDiego airport or anywhere else we wanted to go. I wish there was an option for more stars because 5 is not enough. I would highly recommend and if we come back to SD we will try to stay here again!

This is a lovely, well maintained home on a superbly private, quiet lot. Our three generation family used the beautifully designed pool, hot tub, and pickleball courts every day. The kitchen is well stocked and roomy. The safari park is very near, and La Jolla only slightly farther. It's a bit of a drive down to Balboa Park and the harbor and the many activities there. Only a note for light sensitive sleepers: the primary bedroom (main floor) lacks room darkening elements; all downstairs bedrooms are so equipped.

We had the most wonderful stay at VEBO! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by our amazing hosts, the Grecos, who made us feel right at home. The property itself is stunning—beautifully designed with a serene outdoor space that includes a sparkling pool, a pickleball court, and lush greenery everywhere. The blooming bougainvillea added so much charm and color—it truly felt like a private paradise.The rooms were spacious and thoughtfully decorated, with very comfortable beds and fresh, clean linens that made for a restful night’s sleep. The gourmet kitchen was fully equipped and a joy to use, making meals easy and enjoyable. The neighborhood was incredibly quiet and peaceful, with unforgettable sunsets and the soothing sound of bird songs each morning and evening.We stayed for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed every moment—it was relaxing, rejuvenating, and filled with beauty. We are already looking forward to returning. Highly recommend VEBO for anyone seeking comfort, peace, and a touch of luxury.

We had a wonderful week at this magnificent house! The house was very inviting, with lots of room to hang out in the large living room and downstairs second living area. The kitchen was fully stocked and we cooked breakfast every day as well as several dinners. Bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and good sized for everyone. The outside area was gorgeous - we spent many hours by the beautiful pool, played pickleball, and walked around the very well landscaped property. John reached out prior to our stay to see if we had any questions before we arrived, and was extremely responsive and very easy to work with while we were staying at his home. A perfect vacation for our family! Thanks John!

Great property- with Amazing backyard! Our family had such a great time at this house. We were so impressed with how well stocked this house was / from beach towels to blankets to spices and so many kitchen utensils. The backyard had everything you needed to enjoy the pool and pickel ball court. Our young children loved the books the house provided too!We had plenty of room for our family and thoroughly enjoyed such a great property. Our favorite was the pool and pickle ball court!! Our kids (ages 2-9) are already asking when we can return. It was nice being in a safe neighborhood with a short 30 minute drive to the city and under 2 hours to Disney!

Owners must be proud of their property and keep it in wonderful shape. They had anything you might need to cook or have fun or stay the night. Even board games if you had to stay inside. Spacious areas and very family friendly. The outdoor areas were really a lot of fun--pool, spa, playhouse, pickle ball court, outdoor eating and lounging areas. Great time. I would highly recommend this property.

John went above and beyond to accommodate us when our other booking cancelled just 3 days before our trip. We could not have been happier in this beautiful home. The pool and pickleball court were so fun that we didn't want to go sightseeing. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked, the house was super clean. Can't say enough good things about this place. Perfect Family Vacation

The property itself is incredible - the best of both worlds! Plenty of space for our family of 5, including 3 young adults. The outdoor space was perfect. The pool and outdoor dining spaces were a daily must. The location is 30-45 minutes from anything we wanted to do. We loved having a short drive to all things San Diego but then being able to come back to a more serene space with amazing views to relax and enjoy being together as a family. The owners are incredibly responsive and kind - proactively checking in to make sure we had everything we needed for an amazing vacation, including offering a later check out when our flight home got delayed.

Beautiful home, great outdoor space

The house is set up nicely for a large group. The kitchen is well equipped and the owner is very responsive, from our initial inquiry to a few interactions during our stay. For us, the real highlight is the outdoor living space, including the pool, spa, sitting areas, and the tennis/pickleball/basketball court. Our family of 4 adults had more room than we needed and really enjoyed our stay.

Awesome place for our family of 8 to stay and also entertain. Great outdoor spaces for hanging out. The court was so fun for games of pickle ball and basket ball. The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had and made sure our check in was seamless. Would definitely stay here again!

Awesome Thanksgiving Vacation

So perfect for our family. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, spa, and pickle ball court. The house is lovely and well appointed. Conveniently located to airport, Torrey Pines golf course, and the San Diego zoo. Our host was extremely gracious, helpful, and available to answer questions. I highly recommend this property!

A perfect family get away!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. It was spacious, beautifully appointed, perfectly clean and felt more like a true home than a vacation rental. It was worth paying the extra money to heat the pool. We swam, played tennis, hung out in the hot tub and enjoyed the outdoor fire place. No complaints whatsoever. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic Property

We highly recommend this property. Large, quiet, private yard. Can’t see neighbor houses from backyard. Very peaceful. Kids loved playing tennis, swimming, hot tub and playing basketball. Inside has 4 bedroom areas in basement with large master on main floor. Great family retreat. The owner, John, was very attentive to a couple of our questions during the stay. Just a wonderful property.
