The location was great for what we needed- a short block from the Sac Memorial Auditorium. It was also close to a few restaurants and coffee shops. The room was clean and simple, updated appropriately for the age and price of the hotel. There were a few safety concerns with the area of Sacramento,m with homeless camps nearby, but we didn't face any issues. Parking lot is well lit and it's free to park.

Great location, decent hotel. The free parking was nice but the spots are definitely pretty small, so consider leaving your lifted truck at home. The area felt pretty safe. The a/c in the room smelled like mold when running, so we didn’t use it (maybe it’s better in the summer?). Otherwise the bed was comfortable and the room was nice enough. Breakfast included a waffle iron so that was neat.
