The location was great for what we needed- a short block from the Sac Memorial Auditorium. It was also close to a few restaurants and coffee shops. The room was clean and simple, updated appropriately for the age and price of the hotel. There were a few safety concerns with the area of Sacramento,m with homeless camps nearby, but we didn't face any issues. Parking lot is well lit and it's free to park.

The rooms were very clean, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Having breakfast included was convenient, and the breakfast area was comfortable, though it would have been nice to have options like toast or bagels. Parking was also included, which was very convenient. Through no fault of the hotel, the surrounding neighborhood felt unsafe. It was difficult to sleep due to people yelling on the street, extremely loud music from cars, and frequent sirens. I would not recommend this location for a solo female traveler who plans to walk back from the convention center late at night. There are many homeless and intoxicated individuals in the area, which is troubling to see in our state capital.

There were homeless sleeping and trash/debris all around the property. Smelled like a dumpster and urine. The rooms had terrible furniture. Restroom had mold. Appliances awfully old. There was a huge gap at the bottom of the door and the room stayed cold, despite a very loud heater.
