We stay at this place for one night, hotel is very good for the price and location.small parking area. Rooms are very clean.
Did like the room size to small but room was clean
Compared to price wasn't really worth of room size. Room door didn't need a key to open! It just opened when I push the door. Front desk staff looked so unprofessional and not very friendly! I wasn't very happy to staying with Quality Inn.
Upon arrival I needed to wait outside 10+ minutes, because the hotel schedules only one desktop clerk person at a time, and when he/she is on break they lock the lobby. The room was clean, but held a strong uncomfortable smell through my stay.
I rented a small pickup truck and was unable to park it in any of the very small stalls that are available between pylons holding the building up. Parking stalls are two rows up against opposite walls of the building with little turning space to maneuver. Nearby paid parking look like a junkyard with suspicious street people wandering about. I drove off without even entering the hotel. I'll eat the fee and never do a "Quality Inn" again.
Good downtown location........ample but not glamorous breakfast
Very good staff, centrally located. Good breakfast. Not great, but solid. Staff was best part
This place was perfect for my stay. I was attending a conference in Sacramento and needed a place to stay. Everywhere else near the convention were expensive but this hotel was not. It was just a corner walk! The room was comfortable and clean. I did have quite a headache taking a shower because there was a low buzzing noise coming from the shower when the air filter was on. The staff were ok. The first staff who I checked in seemed quite irritated but I don't blame her I did get into the city very late but I'll let that pass. The second staff was super nice. Anyways, I liked this place and will definitely book it again.
I stayed 6 nights for a conference. Located within walking distance from Sacramento Convention Center and the Auditorium. Around August not a lot of tourist and the streets were pretty empty. The internet in the hotel is slow and was never able to connect my iphone or android to internet service. Overall not bad if you are just going to sleep in. One situation I was not happy about: one of the cleaning ladies left her iphone charging with my charger in my room. She came a few minutes later to pick up the phone.
As I pulled up to this hotel I groaned. The area isn't the best (seemingly safe, just rather dirty/run down area) and the hotel exterior made me worry. They have excessive gates everywhere which is quite off-putting. That being said, the old phrase of never judge a book by it's cover is completely true. Inside, the rooms are completely remodeled. Amazing beds, new TV, remodeled sink area and completely remodeled bathroom. The shower is the nicest out of where I've stayed at and I'd compare it to a Courtyard by Mariott shower. Staff was friendly and prompt. The only negative is the rooms are rather dark, some additional lighting would make the room excellent, also update the chairs in the room. You have a beautiful remodeled room but old stained chairs. Breakfast could be better, but it's free so you can't complain.
It is walkable distance to the Convention Center. They offer continental breakfast and Parking. In your room, there was a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and free WiFi. When there are a lot of visitors, the network speed was really slow that I just went back to the Convention Center to get Internet access. But it was that close! I shared room with another person but for two of us, I think it was decent.
All out enjoyable right where I needed to be very close to all attractions around
Clean place to sleep, couldn't pick a better location right in downtown sacramento.
I attended a conference at the convention center. This was walking distance from it. It's a no frills hotel. Just a place to sleep at if that's what you're looking for.
Between the constant banging from nearby construction and conversations heard through the super thin walls, my experience at this hotel was a very loud one.
Good place to sleep! Great location.Close to a few cool bars and restaurants.
Hotel is in a very accessible area of Midtown Sacramento, which is great. Hotel itself is a bit uninviting. I arrived and walked to my room on the third floor, and the door was open to the public, and the bed was not made. At that point it was past 4PM. The room reeked of cigarettes, and when I called the manager to inquire about the smell of the room, she told me that I booked a smoking room. To which I looked over the [...]agreement, and no where did it state or request a smoking room, the contract did indicate that I did request a non smoking room. The manager was nice enough to move us to a new room, which a two double instead of one queen. The room itself was clean but the bathroom was very moldy. I would never stay at this Quality Inn again. Sorry Sacramento, but I'll take my bets with the Clarion Hotel around the corner.
The customer service was great! The manager at the front desk was so helpful. The hotel is in a good location, we just needed a quick place to stay for the night.
I stayed there because of a snow storm in my town that would make it hard to get to work the following morning. I was shocked that I had to pay an additional $10 to up grade to a non-smoking room. It was posted that I asked for a smoking room. I do not smoke. I believe I was be smoked by this hotel or this first impression on this website. I have stayed in some really nice priced range hotels. This in comparison was abit out dated. I would not stay there again. After paying the additional fee, I would have been better to pay an additional $10 to $20 more for a better place. It was surrounded by alleys. It was not a safe place for a single female.
