The Sage Hotel

"My wife and I had a really disappointing experience at this hotel. As soon as we walked into the room it smelled old and musty, like it hadn’t been properly aired out or cleaned in a long time.
The bigger concern was the outside of the property. The parking lot was extremely dark with very poor lighting, and there were several homeless individuals around the property. Because of the lack of lighting and security presence, my wife and I did not feel safe walking to and from our room.
To make matters worse, there was urine in the corner of the stairwell leading up to the second floor. It was very noticeable and made it clear that basic maintenance and cleanliness of the property are being neglected.
Because of all of this, we didn’t even end up staying the night. We left and checked into another hotel because we didn’t feel safe, even though that meant forfeiting the money we had already paid for the room. Overall a very disappointing experience and not somewhere we would consider staying again."
