As other reviewers have noted, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean; parking was easy; the area around the hotel had plenty of budget friendly places to eat and shop for necessities. Breakfast included great burritos. The drive up Cerillos to the plaza area and the Railyard district was only about 10 minutes. Great value. I will stay there next time I'm in Santa Fe.

No front lobby staff and not friendly or helpful front clerk. They seemed annoyed as though we had interrupted their day. Plumbing (toilet) was backed up and was given a plunger. We would like to recommend Coyote South if service is improved. Not a pleasant stay.

Good value for the price
It’s an older place that’s been renovated. I chose it for a last minute road trip stop and had very low expectations but the room was nice, lobby was cute, staff was great. Lots of dogs but everything seemed very clean.

Nice budget option in Santa Fe.

This place was a dump!!!
The broken glass on the back door should have been our first clue. Room smelled bad the minute we walked in. The toilet seat was broken (or at least in need of some work.) Bedding did not fit the mattress and smelled heavy of bleach. Yes. It’s good to bleach the bedding but it could have used a good rinsing before being put back on the bed. No microwave. Refrigerator had less room than our small cooler. Room was also very noisy all night long from people coming and going through the back door which was right next to our room. We also could hear every footstep from the room above us. Breakfast was less than desirable. More eggs in the burritos than anything else. And that was the only hot food! Breakfast room had very little seating and was elbow to elbow. We had to eat in our room and so did most of the others we saw.

Spent nearly a week at this location. After asking 3 times and finding out that I "Needed to make an appointment" which was ignored, I was able to get new towels and maid service the night before checking out in the morning. I travel quite often and will choose a different hotel next time
