The hotel was beautiful and the staff was very friendly, the room was very clean and We loved the western decor. We stayed for my birthday and the front desk sent me a bottle of champagne..That is something you rarely see in hospitality. My family would definitely stay there again.

Due to the location and lack of parking in the area, use of the valet parking was the only option. We were charged $30 per day, plus tips.The valet attendant was rude and distant. We still tipped him. We arrived just before the 3:00 p.m.check-in window. We dropped off our luggage at the room and came back down to eat only to get turned away at the main dining room. Why do they close for service at check-in time? This caused the adjacent hotel bar/food service area to be over-whelmed. We were totally ignored for over 10 minutes after we were seated, so we moved on. Our room was located on the second floor above the street. The hotel took up the entire block so it was pretty much wrapped by the streets. There was street racing going on until 3:00 a.m. which made it impossible to sleep. We brought this up at check-out, no comment. We replied to a hotel management survey, again no comment. The hotel itself is older and charming. The staff could really care less about you.

The location was good and the concierge - John - was great. Our room was #309. The beds were VERY SOFT and did not give us a restful sleep. We woke up sore and stiff. In the bathroom the maid missed toilet paper and body soap on 2 separate occasions. I am sad to mention this, but you can be better.

We truly enjoyed the area and the hotel. It was beautiful. We could walk to almost every attraction in the area and there were wonderful restaurants within walking distance from casual to upscale. The rooftop bar is a perfect way to end the night with a sunset or begin your evening. I did wish the lobby offered coffee for guests. I am not a fan of room coffee machines. Had to buy coffee every morning. The pool was also a plus. Nice to relax after shopping and sight seeing.
