Property is old and needs updating -restaurant called us about a 10:00 PM reservation and asked us to arrive by 9:45 PM. When we arrived at 9:30 PM restaurant was CLOSED UP TIGHT?!?!?>

Staff wonderful. Comfortable bed. Kitchen average. Room service sub par.

This was a surprise birthday trip, and did not disappoint! We were welcomed very warmly; allowed to check in before the posted time; received free valet parking for our stay. Shuttle service a huge bonus! Every need was accommodated cheerfully. There were no hidden charges, the bill was ready before we left, and the staff were quiet, discreet and friendly - we learned a lot about the area from one long-time employee we spoke with, and appreciated that. Of special note was the curated art, all over the site; we enjoyed meeting the curator and chatting with her. This really enhanced our stay, because we had come to Santa Fe mostly to see art. Loved the outdoor whirligigs. The room was comfortable, spotlessly clean and linens and towels top-notch, everything in perfect working order and beautifully appointed. We loved the Victorian House part of the hotel, and the bar was terrific. The spa/fitness center and the pool were lovely. I cant wait to return!

Our stay as usual was wonderful from the room to the staff to the spa it is first rate !!!

This is not a normal hotel, but rather a set of cabins. Our cabin turned out to be on the street. There was no cable box and the internet access was very poor. We waited about 20 minutes to get a cup of coffee at breakfast.

The most striking feature of La Posada are the beautiufl grounds. Wonderful landscaping: tree, flowers, and shubbery are spread over several acres. Charming patio. The room was very attractive with welcoming crisp white linens. Only downside - very slow food service - in bar, dining room, and on patio. Also we were not fans of the art displayed on every wall. Much of it is very loud and, frankly, unattractive.

I have never taken in a full "spa day" before but decided to and hoped that La Posada would deliver. The staff at the Spa is stellar - from Claudia to Yvette to Rebecca - wow, the best. They made my whole trip to Santa Fe the best trip I have had yet! Exceptional care and treatments from each of them...should I return and take in any treatments I will ask for each one of them again!

I was attending a wedding and we all stayed at La Posada de Santa Fe. Overall, the hotel was nice. My biggest concerns were the lack of service. Had to call the front desk several times during my stay and half the time there was no response and a couple of the times when I did receive a response, my requests were never met (asked to have my room clean - twice... didn't get room service at all one day so I just asked for clean towels when we got back to our room at midnight).

Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely Southwestern style tastefully decorated rooms in small cottages on large, nicely manicured property. Good restaurant and bar.

Very good, we were walking distance to almost everything we wanted to see.

The setting is lovely, and the rooms are spacious, beautifully furnished, and offer the right amenities. Spa, pools and yoga classes are fun when you want to relax. The bar is set in the old house and offers great cocktails and appetizers.

This hotel has the absolute nicest, friendliest most accomodating staff I have ever met, and I travel often. Rooms are beautiful, private and the grounds are equisite.. Go there!!

The complex has a great location and the staff are very attentive. I had a problem in that our room was very small. For $200 a night, I was hopeing for a little bit more. We were supposed to get two doubles , but only had a single. For half the price, try the Sage and you can get a nice breakfast also.

We purposely booked a romantic weekend escape to La Posada after attending the Albuquerque ballon Festival. Perfect plan! We were able to achieve maximum relaxation before heading back to California.

Beautiful grounds, large comfortable room with fireplace. Staff goes out of their way to please. Free coffee in lounge, newspaper to door. Went to recommended restaurant ( The Compound). When bill for meal presented, informed La Posada was picking up tab for dessert. 4-5 minute walk to plaza. Easy to get to from Albuquerque airport, 45 minutes. Lots of extras. Will go back!

The outside areas, restaurant, bars and most staff at this hotel were fine -- but the rooms did not live up to the rest of the resort. I was assigned to an upstairs room, the farthest distance from the main building as possible. The room was comfortable, but nothing special. The heating/cooling was very strange -- I had to turn on the air conditioner in January in Santa Fe and it made a strange clicking noise all night. The next morning I woke up, got ready to shower and NO HOT WATER. None! I had to pack everything and move to a new (smaller) room -- not what I wanted to do at 8 in the morning. There was NO apology from the management. Being a "4-star" resort, I would have thought they would have sent some token of apology -- but that's just me. With so many other choices in Santa Fe, I'll try other options next time.
