The door did not shut properly and had to be slammed closed to make it close. Which made our neighbours rather upset Shen we arrived after midnight from our night kayaking tour.

The room was way bigger than I was expecting, and really clean and comfortable. I loved having the balcony access but really pay attention to the sign they have on the wall in the room that warns you about the tiny flies that come in because that is no joke! The first night, I left the doors open a little longer than I probably should have and I was sleeping with flies for the rest of my stay! Very much my own fault though, so this is just a warning! The pool was great, I only dipped my toes in on a very hot day but it was so nice to have it there. Also really recommend the BBQ restaurant next door, and Kuirau Park across the road, especially for the free thermal foot spa!
