Don't book this hotel!

I booked his hotel months in advance and the day I was to check in, I was told by the owner that he does not have a room for me and my family. He said that he tried to send me an email the day we were to arrive but he his email was not working. He offered for us to go to another hotel (hotel owned by his friend) and we went to see this hotel, but the hotel was not in a good condition, I would not even rate it as one star. We ended up walking from one hotel to another to try to find a hotel for that night. The problem was that the hotels were either booked or the prices were high for booking without notice. We ended up staying in a hotel that cost us three times as much as we were to pay at the Piave hotel. Don't book this hotel. The owner is rude and does not care if you stay at his hotel or not. This was our first experience in Rome and we don't have a good impression of it or the people. This is our first and last stay in Rome and Italy.

A short stay

The hotel was perfect for the two day stay there and it was close to the central station (about 15 minutes on foot and 5-10 minutes with bus which was right next to the hotel). It was a bit old and actually it was a floor in an appartment which included about 10 rooms (not areal hotel), but suprisingly it was almost full at that time of the year which was a low season!

A pleasant stay

Our stay in Piave is pleasant! The hotel is close to the public transport. The receptions at both daytime and night time are very helpful, giving advise on where to go, how to get there, ect. The room is a bit small, but it's Europe :).

Hidden gem

Very clean hotel and rooms in a quiet part of the city. Close to busses and metro which make it easy to get around. Everything you need is about 10 minutes away. Room rates are reasonable and the hotel owner is very nice/helpful. There is also the best gelato shop at the corner of Via Piave/XX Septembre. If your looking for a boutique hotel with reasonable rates, look no further!

We stayed here for two nights. The room was a bit small but clean. The location was very convinent. İt was in walking distance to a few places. The man on desk is very kind and helpful. We had a great trip at Rome.

about 15mins walk to nearest metro station which can be a pain when the sun is hot. about 15-20mins walk to the Rome Termini which can be very difficult when you have large luggages like I did. Service provided by night shift staff is perfect and friendly.

First of all, this qualifies as more of a guest house than a hotel. There is no signs out front and was hard to find (especially since we arrived late). But the young man working the desk was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean if not small and a little dated. Cold buffet breakfast was decent.

Excellent Smaller Family style and Run Well

I'll first have to agree with most of the reviews I saw of this hotel . The price is fair for the location and service. I was only English speaking and did just well with my communications to Staff. The room is quiet, Beds were Comfy and the morning sit-down snack (Euro Bkfast) was just Fine (again super perfectly made Cappacino, the REAL one) . Nearby places to eat , including a late open corner pizza type outdoor/indoor that has fav-beverages takeaway for you night relaxing at the large flat-screen TV. Nearby Bus service is readily avail (keep ur cash near and dear while in Rome) I agree the old-time Elavator is nonforgetable but takes you to the 3rd floor well modernized rooms. Great help from Gabino at the Front desk! (they have Maps for you too) We walked from the Termini, rolling our luggage (should of had a map or better directions as we walked an extra block) but took a cab back as were were in a rush. The Borghese Museum was a short walk away too. Other #75 and 62 bus lines took us all over. Other busses also were avail.

Problem vid incheckningen då de ej fått vår bokning men vi fick ett rum ovh till det rabatterade priset på hemsidan. Utöver det så var allting bra förutom frukosten som va lite sådär men helt klart ätbar. AC fungerade bra trots extremt varmt.

Standard albergo.

L'hotel si trova ad un piano del palazzo in via Piave. Biancheria pulita e bagno non grande, ma sufficiente (ma no bidet). Colazione standard, in piccola stanza all'ingresso. Personale gentile. Niente di particolarmente speciale. Ho tuttavia avuto un problema con la prenotazione, che era in overbooking e quindi aveva disponibilità per una notte sola; probabilmente dovuto al fatto che ho fatto la prenotazione la mattina stessa (ma comunque confermata da Hotels.com). In serata mi e' stata offerta una camera in un'altra struttura, ma avendo alla fine già deciso di stare una notte sola non l'ho usata. Comunque hanno ammesso il disguido e cercato di risolverlo, ma se fossi dovuto rimanere sarebbe stato un problema.

Buena relación calidad-precio

Al principio nos pareció caro, pero viendo el precio de los alojamientos en Roma y lo poco que ofrecen, merece la pena pagar un poco más para alojarte en hoteles como este. Muy limpio y te cambian las toallas a diario. La habitación es pequeña pero lo suficiente para estar unos días. El desayuno muy bueno, tipo buffet y variado. Nosotros llegamos cerca de las 23h de la noche y no tuvimos ningún problema, estaba el chico en la recepción. Muy amables, nos consiguieron un taxi para la ida al aeropuerto a las 5 de la mañana. Te ofrecen toda la información que necesites para moverte por allí. El wifi funciona muy bien. A 15 minutos andando del centro histórico, nos movimos andando sin necesidad de utilizar transporte público. Si lo necesitas hay paradas cercanas.
