Six of us stayed in this hotel for three nights. As many people have mentioned the hotel is very well placed so that it is relatively easy to see most of the major attractions. The hop on – hop off bus was very nearby as was a metro station. The hotel itself is very nice indeed with friendly and attentive staff. Our rooms had all mod cons and were modern and nicely decorated. The front desk reserved two restaurants for us during our stay and this made things much easier as a lot of restaurants seem to be permanently fully booked. We would definitely stay here again if we visited. As an aside we booked transport from the airport to the hotel and for the return journey. The same firm CONSORZIO AIRPORT SHUTTLE CAR also took us to the match and brought us back. Very friendly service and very punctual.
Rooms was great, excellent service and very helpful staff. My family and I were particularly impressed with Laura and Vincenza from the breakfast room. They were always efficient, helpful, pleasant and nothing was to much trouble for them.
My fiance and I are travelling to Italy for our honeymoon and upon finding this hotel online thought we would stay for a few nights. I wrote them to see if they have any honeymoon specials and did not receive any response after a week...other than their automated "we have received your request and will respond shortly". I have written two more times and still have yet to hear back.....It looks like a beautiful place and seems to have decent reviews, however, then they can't even respond to an email, what kind of customer service is that?!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Barberini and highly recommend it as an ideal location for exploring the sights of Rome. It’s location allows for easy and interesting walks to key sights and it is also close to great shopping, the underground and the central station. The room was small but very clean and the bed comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast in a rooftop dining room with a superb view of Rome. The breakfast had a very good selection of cold and hot foods ( the porchetta was delicious!), and the service friendly and efficient. The front office staff were also friendly and helpful and we used the car service to go to the airport.
Great hotel in the best location in Roma It is near all the sights The room is nice and veryclean Staff of the hotel sre very nice and friendly, they explain and help. מקום נפלא חדרים נעימים ומאד נקיים הנוף משגע הצוות נפלא המלון ממוקם במרכז העניינים. Best view from the hotel dinning room as well as from our room balcony. There is coffee and mini bar in the room, Great shower. Everything is great.
We stayed 3 nights in this hotel. The location is close to the fontana trevi, piazza di spagna... so for walking around good. The staff in the restaurant/breakfast-room a very polite and friendly. The room was very very small and the bed very hard - almost impossible to sleep. We asked at the reception for an adjustment and the solution was a blanket between the sheet and the mattress. So the staff at the reception is supporting. We booked the trip via an agency. Before we arrived I contacted the hotel (as well the agency sent an E-Mail) if it would be possible to get an information of the cost and the possibility to change the booking from a normal room to an superior room (or suite) because the trip was a present for my husband. Even if there are rooms available on booking.com (cheaper than we booked them), there was no response from the bookin dep. of the hotel Ms E.R. At least an answer or an reaction on our arrival I had really appreciate. For that I was disapointed..... Overall the location is great an the breakfast fantastic.
Very nice hotel. great hospitality. very good breakfast. Location near fontana de trevi - heart of the city. will come again. Close to the termini central station. great view of the city from hotel restaurant on top of the hotel.
Wife booked as surprised for b day . Have stayed in Rome several times at other hotel. This by far has been the best for location staff friendliness and tidiness/cleanliness hotel room. Hotel far away enough from noise of central Rome near enough to walk to all major sites. If coming to Rome for first time would highly recommend hotel. Breakfast typical continental although staff more than happy to help with requests. Though staff didn’t know it was my birthday. I later have been told they overheard my wife talking about my birthday and came out with birthday cake.
We stayed for four nights in the Barberini hotel. The location is excellent, we walked everywhere and it was perfect for everything. There are an abundance of places to eat and drink around the hotel and the train station is also very nearby. The breakfast on the 6th floor with view across Rome was quite something. The food at breakfast was excellent quality and the staff were welcoming and very friendly. The one downside to our room (room 301) was that it was very small (quite claustrophobic) and the mattress in the room sloped downwards, i guess from people having to sit on the edge of the bed. The window looked out onto the air conditioning units and didn't let much light in. The showroom on the other hand was excellent and very spacious. We asked for a couple of extra pillows to stuff under the mattress and this helped. Overall though this was a very pleasant hotel in a great location with fantastic breakfasts
This hotel was fabulous for our needs. We stayed in a twin room which had traditional decor , was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was beautifully tiled and clean. Breakfast was of a buffet style with good choices. The restaurant was on the 6th floor with panoramic views over Rome......an amazing backdrop whilst enjoying your food. All staff were very , very, helpful and friendly. This little jewel of a hotel was perfectly situated for walking to all of Rome’s tourists attractions as well as bars, cafes and shops. We did catch the tube to the Vatican.......but you could walk it. We had pre booked our trip around the Vatican and needed to have a very early start. ( I would recommend you pre book attractions as the queues can be miles long! ) We will definitely return to this hotel and highly recommend it.
