The location of this property was great. Just a short walk to all the major sites and Termini Rail station. The hotel is clean and comfortable and our room was quiet and provided a good night's rest. The bathroom is a little small, but it didn't create an issue for us. The front desk staff was helpful and arranged our transportation for our departure back to the airport. I would stay here again!

I could not make the reservation because of other travel issues with flights that were beyond my control and they still would not let me cancel my reservation even with adequate notice. Pathetic.

Good location for accessing much of historic Rome. Excellent recommendations for drinks and gelato. Room allowed some exterior noise through the closed window. The building is rock solid and comfortable.

Staff was very friendly except one guy, very good Location close to all attractions and breakfast is very good. They have upgraded me to bigger room for free of cost but I have declined it as I have unpacked my things.

Great location, room, and breakfast (make sure it's part of your booking or pay 8 Euro/$9 per person charge). Close to a Metro (subway) stop, the Colosseum, Forum, and other ancient ruins. The front desk staff was not always as helpful as we would have expected when asked for information on the local area and transportation options.

Hotel staff had airport to hotel pickup for us! Emailed us with details prior to our flight to Rome. Had wonderful suggestions for restaurants and gelateri. Had a taxi for us when when we had an appointment for a tour. What we loved most were the excellent sites within walking distance of the hotel. We so enjoyed our walks in our four days in Rome and loved our stay at Hotel Raffaelo.

The hotel was in a great location, the staff were very nice, and our stay was great.

My wife and I spent a week in Rome at the Hotel Raffaello during Easter, arriving on the Friday before Easter and leaving the Friday after. I would highly recommend this hotel. Every member of the staff was helpful, courteous, and extremely pleasant--all of the people at the desk, the concierge, the breakfast staff, and the cleaning staff. Everyone we encountered spoke excellent English, and we had no problem communicating. The breakfast menu did not change from day to day, but there was always plenty to eat and supplies were restocked frequently. (The two days we had to leave early--for Easter Mass at the Vatican and for our early flight--we were supplied with a breakfast to take with us.) The hotel is centrally located between Termini (train station and metro lines A and B) and Cavour (metro line B), a very short walk to Santa Maria Maggiore and a 15 minute walk to the Colosseum; bus stops are also close by. There are a variety of restaurants nearby and a grocery store (cheap water and beer) several doors away. (My wife was happy to discover an inexpensive gelateria right around the corner.) We were extremely happy with our choice of the Hotel Raffaello.

Nice location, friendly receptionist but bathroom too small And urinal made toilet even smaller. A rain shower would be Better or even just a shower stall without bath tub would have Made it more efficient.

This hotel is wonderful! The staff is exceedingly helpful and gracious (we were especially fans of Francesca), and the room is lovely. For those worried about their Italian, everyone we encountered on staff spoke impeccable English. The included breakfast was an easy way to start off the morning before exploring the city, and the location was perfect for walking to nearly everything we wanted to see as first-time visitors to Rome. (Its location was also handy when we wanted to return to the hotel for siesta when it was nearly 100F outside!)

Great hotel! No complaints. Clean. Friendly staff.

The hotel staff is extremely friendly and everyone speaks English. The rooms are small but comfortable. The double bed was actually a queen. It was very quiet since the hotel is not on a main road. The bathrooms are nice however they do not have wash clothes and the shower is extremely small. The rooms were kept very clean. Breakfast is very nice and they have a bag breakfast if you need to leave before 7am. They will also arrange a private car for you to and from the airport. Email the hotel before you leave and a driver will be waiting for you. The cost is €50 (a taxi is €48). And they had a car ready to take us back to the airport. It was very convenient and took a lot of stress out of the travel.

We had no problems during our stay. The breakfast is basuc, but excellent. The staff is professional and orderly. No attitude, no surprises. An extra wall outlet would be helpful for recharging devices. We would stay there again. Fairly close to the train station.

Single room was small but bathroom was nice size except for shower stall which was uncomfortable

The hotel was great and the location couldn't have been better! The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful, probably one of the best hotel staffs I have ever encountered. My one and only (small) complaint is the bed comfort, it was not a very nice mattress. Luckily, there is so much to do and see, you are so tired by the time you get to the room, that you almost don't notice the mediocre mattress. Thank you for the amazing stay!

Everything about the hotel was wonderful including the staff and the breakfast. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The only minor issue was the bathroom which was a little cramped.

hotel was ok. bit pricey for the services offered. beds were not very comfortable and way too small when asked for single beds. shower was too small . barely could stand and hardly could move
