this hotel was very convenient for me, close to work; I had to stay overnight, due to inclement weather and bad road conditions. The staff was friendly and efficient.

We have stayed here before and have had a good experience each time and will for sure be staying there again.

We stayed one night and for the money it was great choice. Everything was perfect. We would stay there again if we will need it.

We found the hotel staff to be very friendly, accomodating and professional. This may not be a five star hotel, but it more than met our needs and were overall very pleased with our stay. Should we have need to stay overnight at Rochester again, we will definitely consider staying at this facility again. Thanks for making our stay pleasant and enjoyable! Walter & Lola Schott

Hotel runs on a bare-bones staff such that you have to dial a phone from the lobby to get someone to help you - even at prime check-in time around 4:00. Hotel is mostly for Mayo Clinic patients and relatives so it feels like a hospital. There is no pool, game room, exercise room which at least keeps the kids out. Quiet, clean facility.

the staff was friendly and accomadating. we were there for a local wedding. only thing missing was a swimming pool.

Clean, friendly, the kitchen was handy and the room comfortable. We were not expecting amenities and the price was right!

Everything was great! The receptionist even bumped us up to a room with a King size bed when we had requested a Queen size one. Very friendly and very accomodating.

The stay at ESA Rochester-North was a restful night's stay. My room was very clean and I even had a note from the housekeeper who had requested my input concerning the room's cleanliness. The room wasn't super fancy but it had everything that I needed. I didn't expect a small kitchenette in a room at this price. It was nice to pull some leftovers out of the fridge from the night before... it made for a quick breakfast so I could get back on the road. Also, the staff was very helpful and carried a great attitude. I highly recommend coming here if needing a place to rest. The amenities are great for the price.

Third floor allowed smoking in some rooms. Initially placed on that floor and refused room. Rest of hotel smelled like smoke, especially elevator. If it had been possible we would have left. No refund. Never thinking in this day, that smoking would ever be a problem in a public place.

People at the front desk were very accomodating. Room was clean and comfortable

Clean room. A bit hard to find though, not sure visible from 52.

No Comedy Central, a little bit more noise than I can sleep through from floor above and the 2nd floor smells like hamburgers grilling. Took me some pondering to figure out how that would be for a place that has no restaurant ;-) $5 a day for internet?!?!? Pretty OK for an extended stay but overnight it is kind of lacking in features for the price.

This place was very clean, had a skeleton crew, but didn't affect its cleanliness and comfort. Great if staying a while because it had a kitchenette. No exercise room, no pool, no breakfast, but quiet, clean and comfortable.

The hotel room looked very appealing, the kitchen, which included several utensils and cookware, was very nice to have, the hotel staff was very helpful, the rooms were clean, the rate was excellent, however.....The two nights that my wife and I slept here were the worst sleep that we've had. The bed was very hard and the two pillows were either grossly over- or under-stuffed. We were able to make do with the bed, but we ended up tossing the pillows on the floor and going without. Also, no breakfast. For the price, though, I can't complain about that.Oh, one more thing. I tried to reserve my room on the ESA website, but evidently 5 of the 50 states aren't able make a reservation, of which one was mine, [...]. The only thing I can think is they don't have ESAs in those states...

It was a good price for the room we got. Not a lot of amenities Tho.

Experience pretty good. Staff somewhat confused about Orbitz. One clerk left a phone message about who we booked with. Mgr. didn't know why she asked, since Orbitz was on the computer record. We were surprised we had to buy our own bottle of dishwashing soap and there was no frying pan in the cupboard - only one saucepan.

The room was comfortable and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Location was great - lots of new restaurants nearby.
