Room was clean and quiet. The mountain view was very nice. The walkway to/from our unit on the mountain side was a bit rough and broken up. (Appeared to be harder for older guests to navigate.) Dining options were limited to only Charlie's Alpine Bistro, where the food was really good but slow service, as they appeard to be short-staffed. However, we would stay here again, as prices were affordable and they also have dog-friendly rooms.

Everything was great except the exterior door handle on the back deck was broken. It came off when I did a room check after check in. I called the lobby to get this fixed. First time (night of check in), I left a message. I got no call back, so I then called the next day and spoke with the EE on duty, no maintenance was done after the EE said that a maintenance tech will be sent out. Therefore, this left me feeling a bit anxious of whether I will have to pay for the damage that I was not responsible for or not. Thankfully I wasn't charged for this. There was also a payment discrepancy between what I paid for on Expedia and what I was charged for from the resort. I was charged significantly more on Expedia than what was charged from the resort, which I already paid the higher amount. This led me to feel very dissatisfied from the booking with Expedia.

I was happy with my stay at the property. But there seemed to be confusion amongst staff regarding my service pet and the communication the day prior to my arrival (4 hour drive) I was still waiting on a call back from the manager. But over all it is a beautiful resort.
