Remote was dead for the TV so we could watch the weather. Mold in the bathroom. Walls were super thin so you could clearly hear next door. The water pressure was horrible. Lady at the desk didn’t seem to know what she was doing but she was nice.

We stayed in a small suite with a kitchenette area. The bed was very comfortable. The view was gorgeous. The only downfall is that there is no one that comes in and changes out your towels, or removes any trash you have. You have to get your own towels if you need more, plus take out your own trash if it gets too full. I’m not fussy about having the bed made or changed so that was fine. Overall though we really did love the place.

Cute and vintage

I stayed in the motel at Solbakken. It is vintage - reminded me of resorts I stayed in as a child. While things inside were older, they were clean. The bed was updated and cozy. The motel portion is not next to the lake - the cabins are behind the motel, and then the lake.

Rustic and friendly

This is a very old school, friendly place to stay in cabins and motel on the lake. The motel section is showing its age, and needs a refresh, but the staff is incredibly nice and the prices are very reasonable.
