We enjoyed our stay at Cascade Lodge on the North Shore of Lake Superior. We booked a room in the lodge with a view of the lake and were pleased. It was an excellent location to see all the water falls from Gooseberry State Park, Tettegouche State Park, Cascade State Park and Grand Portage, and to visit the Split Rock Lighthouse. We also spent some time in Grand Marais. The staff at the lodge was very informative and helpful. The Cascade Restaurant also has both good food and a friendly staff.
