Went for just a night after hiking with friends in late September. Rooms was nice, beds very comfortable and we loved the outdoor and indoor large hot tubs! They also had firepits going we warmed up by after outdoor pool area closed! Can’t wait to come back and check out more of the area!
I've been coming to Superior Shores for about 25 years. We stayed at one of the Kind Suites in the main building and it appears that very little has been updated. Our jacuzzi had holes near the hot/cold handles, appliances, countertops and carpet are outdated. The entire property is outdated. For the price you pay, I think the amenities and appearance should match. We decided to have dinner at the restaurant, which is a lovely place, however, the prices!?!? I was shocked! Very expensive. Also, the lighting is poor. Very dark to the point where you can't see your menu or food.
Loved the room and the place. It was amazing. I would suggest adding more firepits to the outside. We were enjoying the firepit till we got extremely crowded with folks trying to do smores. The rooms are amazing we had a balcony that looked over the lake, the huge tub fit two plus size people comfortable, the king size bed was nice, the love seat in the livingroom area was comfy, and the fireplace in the room was a nice touch if it would have been alittle bit colder.
Enjoyed. However our friends king room was a million times nicer for a few dollars more. Didn’t seem right.
Very over priced for a dated property. The room was Advertised as a lake view but from the ground floor where we were, you couldn’t see anything but tall grass and wet land. We left and found a much nicer property for less money.
Pretty view of the lake. Nice fire pit with view of the lake. Nice pool with hot tub out looking the lake. Hotel was very outdated but clean. Staff was nice even though they were very short staffed. Overall not worth the money but it was a nice stay.
location is great dogs peed everywhere
Everything! It a great place!
Liked everything
I love the beach and staff was nice they were helpful of where to eat cause they did not have food in the facility many good food around
They advertised a media room which we got last year and it was locked and inaccessible. Then the toilet bubbles up and completely filled our bathroom with bubbles. Maintenance staff just laughed at it when they came to clean it up. I expect some sort it refund!
Overpriced for the room. Pros all hotels are overpriced in the area
We were not at the resort itself, so the restaurant and the beach were not easily accessible to us. I also paid for a lakeside room, which we did have, but it didn't serve any purpose. You could hardly see the lake through all the brush and trees and could not get to the lake. The rooms were nice thankfully as we ended up spending more time in it than we had expected
The view from Burlington Bay was great. The rooms were spacious and the patio was awesome.
