We have stayed for 7 nights, property is beautiful but customer service is not good :( as well as if you are Expedia VIP you don't get much treated like one. The most disappointing was the dining reservations , the app doesn't work and its impossible to book a dinner at a restaurant. Tried to talk to front desk they said the app only way to go and then talk to people on resort and some even got the whole week booked up front :( we also went and look at those restaurants and almost every one that required reservations was half empty but they wont give us a chance to sit down for a dinner :( we had to eat at buffet only and its not always good tasting food there !

Rooms were fabulous, the most spacious, quiet and comfortable we’ve had at any all inclusive resort in Mexico. They were wonderfully cleaned and well stocked with ice cold drinks and plenty of bottled water. There is no conditioner provided (just conditioning shampoo which did not detangle at all), which was hard for long hair. Unfortunately, the rest of the resort was disappointing, when compared with approximately 15 other Mexican resorts we’ve stayed at over the past 30 years. Many common areas, including the reception desk, appear run down and outdated, with missing light bulbs, broken tiles, etc. The resort is too small to have many large open areas and an abundance of paths to wander, but too large to feel boutique and personal. Staff in all areas were not rude but not overly friendly. Food was mediocre and restaurant lines were often long, even for the buffet. Specialty restaurants are extremely difficult to reserve. We only tried the Italian and it wasn’t great or worth recommending. All drinks were terrible. We tried every option on the menu multiple times and didn’t find a single one at any bar on any day that we enjoyed. Pools were clean but the water was very cold. Bowling alley was fun. Gym was also good. We didn’t use the spa. Area is safe for running off the resort, which we did every day. Beach is quite narrow and water was very churned up so we didn’t use it except to stargaze at night.

I arrived at the hotel with my children only to have Alejandro refuse to give me my room key. Instead he extorted an additional $1000 above what I had booked through hotels.com. He claimed my minor children were adults. This was ridiculous since he had made copies of their passports. It was 10pm and I had no where to go with my children. The room he gave me was roach infested. I was calling other hotels trying to find somewhere else to stay. Once I secured another place, I was told I could not get a refund. We were stuck. At 2am another staff member gave us a better room that did not appear to be roach infested. I am wondering what is the point of booking through hotels.com if when you arrive, the hotel staff can charge whatever they want and hotels.com does nothing to remedy the situation. Why are you doing business with a company that extorts money from customers? When I was leaving, the staff told me they tried to refund my money but my credit card wouldn’t allow it. Of course when I contacted my credit card, they had no such requests. There are not enough chairs so unless you go the pool at the crack of dawn, you have no place to sit. People leave towels on chairs and don’t return for hours. The staff does nothing to assist. The beach area is very small. The best day was when we left the hotel for an excursion. Being extorted on the day of arrival really taints the experience. It prompted me to search other reviews and boy are there a lot of bad ones Yelp is a reliable

Rooms very clean, staff very attentive. Hotel right on the beach with less than 5 minute walk from any room to the ocean. Hotel is great for families. We bowled, played tennis, pickle ball, volleyball, ping pong, pool. Delicious food.

We loved our stay. Staff was amazing. When we called guest services for anything, they had someone come within 5 minutes. Property is very clean and well maintained. Beds were comfy. Our room was newly renovated and very modern and functional. Our kids loved the pirate waterpark/slides. We loved to see the wildlife around the property (coatis, raccoons, capybaras). That was a highlight for our kids. Entertainment was fun as well. Food was amazing at the buffet.so many options and really tasty We tried everyday but were not able to get an a la carte so reservation system may need to be reviewed. Overall was such a lovely vacation. We will be back.

Clean rooms, friendly staff. The restaurants reservation system needs to be updated. We were not able to make reservations and had to eat at the buffet every day.

This was a good place to stay. The staff are all very nice. The lack of hot tubs was a downside. Also, you need to be up before sunrise to claim a chair on the beach or close to the pool. We loved the variety of wildlife around the resort (raccoons, agoutis, coatis, cats, birds). The only real negative we had was a very disappointing couples massage at the spa

The resort was well-maintained and clean. The employees at the resort are top-notch and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The only issue we ran into was the representative from Coco Bongo who wouldn't accept "no thank you" as an answer to the young adults in our group going off the resort to his club. He quickly became very angry and insulting. However, after the altercation he did stay away from us and I did the same. Lastly, I want to thank the resort and the staff for a great New Year's Eve party it was a perfect way to bring in 2026.

Our rooms and resort were well-maintained and clean. All of the workers at the resort were very courteous and accommodating. The only issue we ran into was the representative from Coco Bongo, who was extremely pushy, and when we responded with a simple " no thank you " he overreacted and started insulting us. I understand it is his job to promote the nightclub but we weren't interested in leaving the resort. After the altercation ( that shouldn't have happened), I stayed away from him, and he did the same. Other than that, we rang in the New Year at the resort, and we all had an amazing time. Thank you, Ocean Coral and Turquesa, for making our holiday one to remember!!!!
