My BF and I stayed one night to go to Kings Dominion. The room was somewhat comfortable, but it was good enough for one night stay. We more likely will stay there again.
Its a small, plain place with minimal amenities. The staff was friendly and concerned to make the stay enjoyable. I was surprised, after making the reservation on line, I had to manually complete a room sign-in form. The room was cleaner than many other places and the bed was comfortable. The continental breakfast is very minimal, with 2 cereals, cellophane wrapped cinnamon rolls and English muffins from a bag. They squeezed 2 round tables and 4 chairs into the already miniscule lobby. If they are serious about maintaining a breakfast, they should convert one of their sleeping rooms into a breakfast area. In that area, it is comparable to some others, but with no fitness room, pool, or adequate breakfast area. Would recommend with caveats.
I just wanted a decent hotel for one night while going to Kings Dominion. Next time I won't worry about saving money. I got a smoking room by mistake. It stank! The room, the furniture, the bed linens, everything. The shower head sprayed water everywhere and the towel rack was barely hanging on the wall. It was not clean. The breakfast they served in their miniscule lobby was a joke
This hotel location was great for me but room was dirty and there were alot og bugs and spiders. I had to requedt bed sheets and changed the bed myself.
It was easy to find and the beds were comfortable and firm, though they only gave you two pillows per bed and the pillows were flat. The shower head had to off a spray and the bathroom was little but the room area was large (queen size beds). The nights were quiet and restful and the staff was friendly. We had our pets with us and the location was good for them when taking them out. But their was heavy road work being down on main street and that made it hard to go out to eat. The back way to King's Dominion was easy and taking I-95 back to the hotel was easy. Traffic was heavy though. So all-in-all, an okay stay and I guess I would stay here again.
