The pool was not open, was told by one staff member it had been closed since December another said it had would be closed for 2 weeks and another said they had just learned it was broken. Poor communication!! One stated it was listed online as closed and it was not and we were not told at check in either.
We’ve stayed here a couple of times now. Never had any issues. Rooms are always clean, beds are comfortable, and breakfast is great.
Obvious mold all over the bathtub cracks and corners and on the bottom of the shower curtain. Yuk!!
1. Do NOT stay here. 2. The owner Raul will probably leave a comment after this stating that he’ll address this with his staff. How do I know? Because that’s what he’s done for most of the reviews. Has he improved the conditions of the hotel? NO. Just a bunch of lies. Nice moral compass. 3. Filthy, cob webs, broken furniture.. 4. Did I mention DO NOT STAY HERE? 5. Hotel charges a premium. Then you argue the filth and broken items, and you get a “discount”. Problem is, it’s still ridiculous amount and isn’t at all worth it. Oh, did I mention the TRAIN?? They give you “complementary” ear plugs, because ITS THAT LOUD!
bathroom tub was dirty and had stains on it, knobs were broken. Bathroom sink doesn't drain water and is horribly slow. The room was rusty and not well maintained, the free breakfast was "abysmal". The only reason this hotel is still in business is due to location right opposite to kings dominion. I learned my kesson, will take a hotel in Richmond instead of pathetic ones like these.

Staff was friendly, polite, & informative. Hotel was clean & we loved the colors & the layout of the place.
First look at the property it looks ok. Deeper you see mold and calking missing. Dirty corners. No room freshening. I moved to LaQuinta for the next 3 nights.
Room was fine but terrible Wifi. I told front desk associate when we we're leaving but he simply showed his cell phone was connected to the Internet...not helpful or relevent to no having Internet in my hotel room.
The key had to rekey it every time we entered the room. The air conditioning couldn’t kept up w the weather and our room never got below 78. The breakfast at 7:15 had nothing but cereal. The bath mat looked someone died on it, red stains everywhere. Got yelled at for leaving the door in the pool area open and I never touched it. I feel they were understaffed but we have stayed in this hotel every year to go to Kongs Dominion but will never stay here again. So so disappointing.

The pool was not working. Orbitz nor the site provided this information before booking. After a fun day at Kings Dominion this hotel had nothing offer except room with a hard bed.
Friendly Staff
This is an older property with a fresh coat of paint, and not much else. One of our two "queen" sized beds was broken and sagged 4-6" in the middle when sat upon. The heater, while functional had its full front vent cover fall off when touched. It had been put on there with packaging tape. On the plus side, it was directly across the street from Kings Dominion which is what we wanted. Clean, but poorly maintained.
Free breakfast was great. Hot tub spa not working and pool seemed dirty.
