The location is great and the property is beautiful. We were in town for VCU Family Weekend and this location was convenient. Not walking distance, but a very short drive.

Like the staff everyone was great. Shontel was amazing among the great staff. Didn’t like that the pantry was closed on the weekends.
The room had no heat and the carpeting was dirty.
This Hotel is the worst, when it comes to reservations. Even if you confirmed and paid the reservation, you may just stay without a room. Because the unprofessional front desk person said these exact words. FIRST COME FIRST SERVE EVEN IF THE ROOM HAS BEEN BOOKED. We had no place to stay, and all hotels were booked in the area, so we had no choice but to sleep in our vehicles. Shame on Delta Hotels. And change your staff they’re representing your lack of professionalism very well. Good luck future clients.
Great location. Staff was courteous and helpful. A fair price for a contemporary hotel downtown. I wasn't expecting to pay an additional $15/day for parking but the garage was well laid out with easy access.
My suite wasn’t ready and they upgraded it to a better suite with no extra charge. Staff was very nice
Easy to find, park and check in. Amazingly friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Beautiful view. Other reviewers complained about noise from the street or doors slamming, but I didn’t hear any of that. I don’t know what they’re expecting from a large hotel in the city, but clearly unrealistic expectations. I put in the white noise app on my phone and I didn’t hear a thing that disturbed me.

I liked the staff. They were all nice and helpful. Things I didn’t like were the high prices for food that was not very good. Expected more from the Marriot especially at the high prices. Didn’t like the garage parking price. Lastly, the decor looked very cheap. I think they could do better like some of the other Marriotts I’ve stayed at.
