The property is directly across the street from kings dominion and they also offer shuttle service to and from the park. The hours are 9:30am until the park closes, running every 30 mins.

It was clean and comfortable. The wall paper in the lobby and behind the desk was need of repair. Too large of a crowd for us to be able to eat the free breakfast. But the Burger King was just across the street.

The best thing about this property is its proximity to Kings Dominion. However, I would stay here as a stop on a long car ride as well. I felt it was safe for my family, and given the relatively cost, an excellent value.

It smelled, there was a hole in the middle of the floor on the second floorthat I walked into, the bed collapsed in the room next to mine. AC was sub par and everything was outdated. Would not recommend

Great manager went out of is way to resolve a reservation issue from the booking agency.

This hotel is disgusting. Avoid it. The images are deceptive, the whole place can be summed up in one word "seedy." Upon entering the facility you are overwhelmed with the smell of BO. The staff smells. The lobby smells. The carpets are gross, the whole place feels damp, there was a dead bug in the sheets when we got to the room. The faucets are hanging off the wall int he shower. It was overall a gross experience, we did not want to remove our socks in the room because the floor was so gross looking. My gf slept in her hoodie with the hood up so the pillow didnt touch her face.

close to park, very clean room however hallways were sagging, dirty and musty. staff was helpful but not really happy to be there. plus the constant unmistakable odor of burnt, how shall I say, grass...

staff is mean check in is not a pleasing thing. If the check in staff would be nice you would forget about the other bad things at the place.

The hotel had a bad smell when you walked into the door. There was dust mites everywhere. The beds were very uncomfortable. When I finally fell asleep, the people above where stomping and running. When I called the front desk, a lady said she would talk to them. After 15 minutes, I went to the front desk. A man told me to give them 10 minutes. They just checked in. After a half a hour, they finally stop. The the room near the front desk kept slamming their Do and arguing loudly. The breakfast bar only had waffles or toast that was hot. (You had to cook that!) there was cereal. We were too tired to enjoy going to the amusement park.

This hotel is one among three that stand opposite King's Dominion parking entrance. It is also the least expensive. That fact, however, should not deter one from considering this for their temporary stay. Amenities are basic but present: the non-smoking room I stayed in featured a firm king-sized mattress and four(!) firm pillows; a very quiet mini-fridge with glass shelves; a 32" flat-screen; and the ubiquitous under-window A/C-heating unit, which was also very quiet. The room and adjoining bathroom were clean, stain-free, and didn't smell of cigarettes. The hotel provides 24hr coffee, tea, and juices, while in the morning, a breakfast area provides the usual high-calorie, high-carb fare for those interested (or in need) of such.. Interaction with desk staff was uneventful; staff was pleasant and professional. I reserved online, and at check-in needed only provide a print-out of my reservation with my drivers license and credit card used to reserve. I inadvertently failed to check "non-smoking" when I reserved a room. Staff moved me to a better room without any issue whatsoever. All in all, I am completely satisfied with my overnight stay at this particular Days Inn--not something I can claim across the board for this Indian-owned/operated chain. And while I cannot project my specific experience at this location to speak for all rooms within, I do acknowledge that my late August 2016 stay in room 212 was absolutely acceptable. Consider this hotel for your stay.

Great room, very clean. Check in was smooth, our room was as described online. Bed was comfy. Would definitely stay here again.

The stay was excellent, had a good breakfast there and the pool refreshing easy check in time easy to check out it was right across the street from Kings Dominion we were on the second floor they only have 3 floor at the hotel. I would stay again if I had to

This hotel is nice.. You don't find many smoking hotels. Need to fleshing hallway smoking floors.. Too much smoke.. Otherwise nice for the buck

they lost my reservation. Other than that it was ok

Very clean...great value...nice size rooms..:-) :-)

My family and I had a very nice stay. The room was very nice and clean.

The train behind the hotel was a little noisy but after the first time it went by I hardly heard it. This site says there is a shuttle from hotel to park. This shuttle has not been in use in over 2 years. However we walked and it was not terrible as the park is directly across the street. Great breakfast! Accompanied my family wonderfully. Room had two queen beds and it still had room for my infant sons pack and play.

The place is clean and new. The beds very comfortable. I heard no trains though tracks are nearby. No towels first night but they were brought when we requested. The BIG irritation is that they downloaded software onto my computer that is STILL there to "no fault" the hotel if I use my network for any bad things. The DARNED thing keeps popping up about 4-6 times a day and I have cleared my connection and tried to find the software to clear it out but it isn't listed in my program list. This will not do! I will avoid ALL Days Iinn and Wyndham properties because of this abuse! How do I clear this virus?
