The hotel was renovated but smelled aweful. The elevators were functional but scary and no sticker showing the state inspection. Our room didn't get clean and no new towels were provided. The establishment across the street had a party that could heard late into the morning hours

We were not aware that this room would not include a breakfast voucher. We’ve never stayed at a hotel where we have not had a free breakfast. The headboard on the bed was so old they took sheets to wrap around the headboard. The wallpaper behind the bed was peeling off everywhere.
I believe the night mangers name was Ashely, and she was attentive, courteous, and kind. She welcomed me and my daughter with a smile.
Spent a night while driving from FL to VT and it was fine. We were looking for clean and convenient. Front desk staff was nice (especially for 11 pm)!

Our room was next to an elevator and just above an outdoor patio. There was much noise up to at least midnight. We did not have a very restful evening after a long day of driving.
The best part of the hotel is the staff and the super yummy breakfast options. They are very close to 95 so it's easy to get downtown Richmond in about 15 minutes. I would stay there again,
Clean well kept hotel. Room and bed comfortable. Nice view if lake and fountain. Good variety of food nearby including in hotel. Jacuzzi jets were very weak barely move water around
Half way between families! Meat for a Christmas visit Swam in the pool and had a fun time together!
overall good. was clean and staff was pleasant at check in and check out. obviously a favorite spot for business travelers. Hotel internet didn't work during stay. Worst traffic in 4 1/2 hr trip was directly in front of hotel. Will be much improved when construction is complete!
I booked this hotel because I am used to staying at Marriott Courtyard hotels and expected them to have in-room movies. I had a long travel day and all I wanted to do was relax in the room and enjoy a movie, which I found after check-in was NOT available. I would NOT stay at this hotel again and I visit Richmond several times a year.
Not many upgrades. Cafe selection was exceptional! Due to construction, the main parking lot entrance was hard to access.

Overall good experience. I would definately stay there again as the place has a lot of amenities. Is close to the highway. Staff was very friendly and there is dining options within the place or very nearby.
The staff was really friendly even the janitorial staff, every time a staff saw you they greeted you. The room was decorated nice and really clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, however the pull out couch bed was not that comfortable, I suggest bring an air mattress rather than use the pull out couch if you must you use it ask room service to provide you with an extra comforter so you can fold it under you for more comfort while you sleep. The gym is a little small but accommodating. The pool and hot tub was nice it was indoor also. It was in a perfect location it is a lot of restaurants right up the street. A Target, Kohl's and Walmart is near by for you shopping convince as well as a grocery store. Best of all it is a smoke free hotel I will recommend this hotel to anyone even if you are traveling with little ones.
