We loved the location. Tons of shopping and great places to eat. We loved sitting outside on the 2nd floor balcony in the breezy time of the day as well as early evening as the sun set. The staff, managed by Tiffany, was wonderful in so many ways. We highly recommend Hilton Garden Inn located in Colonial Heights.
Shamicka was the 1st face we saw on the property & we instantly fell in love! We were treated like wanted, invited guests. The entire staff were welcoming & helpful. We will definitely stay again & be getting the app

I read many of the reviews and almost changed my mind. The hotel is not brand new, however, clearly it has been well maintained from my observation. My room was clean, the bed was excellent. It was quiet. Bathroom was very clean and well stocked. I didn't use any of the dining options because it is in the middle of many restaurants and a mall. I have business in this area consistently and have stayed at many of the hotels in the area. This was the best of them and I will definitely stay there again.
I was unable to take a shower because there was no hot water.

We were traveling back to Maryland from Florida and stopped at this Hilton for a night. The staff was very welcoming and the room was great. The food was good too. A very relaxing night that was much needed!
All was good, except the breakfast is not included in the room rate as it appeared it did. All said, nice hotel, would stay there again.
We took a last minute trip to Busch Gardens, but it also happened to be a holiday weekend so Colonial Heights was as close to Williamsburg as we could get. The hotel was okay, until I got back home and noticed a $120 charge on my card from Hilton. I called and they resolved the issue easily. But if I wouldn't have checked my credit card statement, the would have just charged me an extra $120. They said my card was declined through a booking site but it was paid for immediately and that transaction showed on my statement as well. In all, the front desk staff were helpful and kind, when an issue did arise, it was taken care of in a quick and professional manner.
What a great location. The staff was very friendly and we never left the hotel for dinner or breakfast which was excellent. The room was quiet and spotless. Thank you for a pleasurable overnight stay.
They allowed us to check in very early on the way to the race. The beds were very comfortable and the room was spotless. Couldn't ask for more.

The room had been cleaned, but it was not clean when we arrived. It was not evident right away, but we noticed crumbs on the floor, old soap in the shower and a few other clues. Attempts to recover by the Hilton staff were well-intentioned, but we never felt comfortable. The room and the pool were fine otherwise. We might stay here again, but we will see.

We were in town visiting our soldier at Ft. Lee. The hotel's location was perfect and the staff was all very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. The one meal we ate in the hotel restaurant (Thanksgiving dinner) was mediocre for the price, but service was very good.
