Stay away. Smell of weed in hallways, side doors propped open. I put chair at door and towel to block gap at bottom of door. Sketchy area and people hanging out in entryway. No breakfast except 2 cereal and muffins at 7am. Pick another roadside spot to stop. Felt very unsafe!

Tv broken, front desk stated no one was on site repair Microwave broken no one to repair. Breakfast was pathetic, 2 packages of donuts out.
While the room was very nice and clean, the other areas of this Red Roof were disappointing. The location is on a main drag in Chester and the building is essentially connected to a Hooters Restaurant and a car detailing shop. The stairwells and hallways smell of Marijuana and are not ideally presented for travels like myself. During my stay there was also the added entertainment of police arriving and having some dealings with another guest on my floor. While it was nice to not have a pet fee there is not a single patch of grass at this property. The parking lot takes up the entire land the hotel sits on and it seems as though previous guests allowed their pet to use the landscaping rocks to relieve themselves for lack of any nearby facilities. The cleaning staff walked through the halls head down blaring music fron their cell phone. All of this was unfortunate given the lovely front desk staff and rooms.
Great staff. Central and perfect location for travelers. Clean hotel. Just need to add breakfast items.
Stayed here while traveling to NC, easy access off 95, very friendly staff, super clean rooms, great price. Definitely would stay here again.
