The nickle and dime stuff was crazy. From the $4 sodas to a continental breakfast with stale food that then the attendant brought us a bill. Didnt realize I was paying for garbage food. I would have gone next door to an actual restaurant. Also, things like heating problems and having the hot water turned down so low that maximum temperature was barely a warm shower. Last of all, customer ser ice was lacking at the front desk. Twice I went to the front desk and the attendant was back in the office and didnt come out till I called for them. 1 time they answered the phone as I walked up to pay for ny sodas, fine. But it was employee on the other end calling about their schedule. The person proceeded to have a lengthy conversation, walked away to check the schedule, came back, rang up my drinks and charged my card while still on the phone. Only 2 words said to me was your good when my payment went through. Not happy or impressed.

Staff was great. Room had a strong mold/mildew smell that did not go away, it was worse when the fan/heater was running. We need and reserved a handicap accessible room. The wheelchair could get in the room and next to the bed but that was it. No access to the bathroom, no grab bars, no shower accommodations. I chair could get under the sink in the bathroom if you could get the chair in the bathroom. The wheelchair we have is a standard small push chair, nothing big.

Hotel is a little dated but everyone was friendly and the hotel rooms were clean. Bed was a little too soft for my liking but location on the Columbia River was really nice. The hotel says they offer cooked to order breakfast but it’s a standard eggs and potatoes. And you have to pay $11 for that. Just know that. Otherwise it’s a nice place to stay.

The room was clean, over all the hotel needs some cleaning and up keep. The hot tub is outside in the view of every one. The breakfast that is advertised as cook to order is not it’s a buffet style. Also there are no signs saying it costs money.

We arrived during a windstorm. The hot tub is outside which we were determined to get into at 9pm! Short of some leaves in the water, the water was probably the cleanest hot tub water I have EVER seen!
