We stayed in July and had enjoyed our stay. Newer place too so that was a plus. Very close to the Legends Outlet so that's another plus. Very clean room and very nice staff. Central to all the places we wanted to be. So convenient! Looking forward to our next stay in 2 weeks!

This hotel is new. The suites are large, with a kitchen, living room and seperate bedroom. Very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is unbelievable. It goes way beyond what we expected. Lots of variety for different diets and cultures. We loved the one evening they had free hot dogs, hamburgers and salad buffet style. The customer service is fantastic. Special shout out to Synthea, who was a joy in making sure we had everything we needed. Such a happy and cheerful personality! All this for a great price!! Within walking distance to restaurants and shops.

This hotel is in a great location with a great staff and services that they offer. The breakfast is amazing and the mix offered on Mon, Tues, and Wednesday is a very nice touch. Cynthia leads a great kitchen with variety and great taste!

I have stayed at this hotel three times now, with each trip lasting between two and four weeks. Needless to say, I’ve spent a lot of time here. My first two trips were great as far as the stay itself, besides the slight hiccup of them charging my personal credit card rather than billing my company for the stay despite them assuring me they would not and only needed my persona card on file for “incidentals.” This most recent stay, however, has been pretty much a nightmare, and has disappointed me to the extent that I will not be back. Upon check-in, I was greeted with a dirty room. There were fingerprints on the tv screen, crud on the kitchen counter, glass marks on the nightstand, and urine streaks down the front of the (outside of the) toilet, to name just a few things. I hate complaining so I very timidly requested that they please send someone to clean up the room. They sent someone who was very nice however he didn’t just clean it on his own, I had to continually point out each spot that needed cleaning (of which there were many) which made me feel uncomfortable as if I was bossing him around. It would’ve been preferable if he had just cleaned the entire room rather than the bits and parts that I had to point out to him. To make matters worse, the next day I realized that he hadn’t even cleaned the bathroom well as the floor still had dirt on it that wasn’t there upon checkin and there was still urine on the toilet. I had to call AGAIN to have someone clean. Even after all of this, it never felt like the room received a true deep clean but more of a “going over” to appease me. While everyone was kind about it and seemed like they were trying, the results were not good. At this point they offered to move me to another room and when I agreed and went into the room, I kid you not, it too was dirty. The bathroom was clearly not cleaned and the sink had food remnants in it. I ended up telling them I’d rather just stay in my original dirty room since that one had at least been somewhat cleaned upon my initial requests. A few days later, a cleaning rag was left on the bathroom sink by housekeeping which was gross but no biggie—I just placed it on the floor and left it for them to retrieve the next day. A few days later, another rag was left behind, and this time it was left sitting on the dresser outside the bathroom. It was soaking wet and placed right up against an article of my clothing, leaving a huge spot on my shirt. I was less than pleased to imagine where that rag had been prior. Finally, I did not receive the check-in gift of points that I should have despite asking about it two weeks into my trip and being assured they would add them right away. I realize no one is perfect and I am happy to give them the benefit of the doubt, but at some point you just begin to feel the place is not being cleaned and cared for properly (despite it seeming to be a lot better for my last couple trips).

There is much to like about this new Residence Inn. It is in a location that desperately needed more hotels. The other hotels in this area are old and tired so it is nice to have a new option. We loved the decor, the lobby, the breakfast area, and the laundry room was WOW. I often do laundry on the road and this was the nicest and best equipped hotel laundry room I have ever seen. 4 front load washers and 6 brand new dryers. The lady that ran the breakfast was one of the nicest and most service oriented people I have ever met. But management should have had more staff on the sold out Labor Day weekend to help her out. It is a brand new hotel so they are working through some growing pains. They have energy efficient rooms where you have to leave a room key by the door. I think that they have some issues with the energy efficient design of the rooms because we struggled to get the air conditioning to stay on overnight on the fourth floor. This was a bummer because it was 100 degrees outside during the day it does cool down at night but windows don’t open. We had some uncomfortable stuffy nights but in the end the staff made it right and I think they are trying to work out the bugs with being a new hotel. That being said I would recommend a room on a lower floor during the summer months. The breakfast was better than other residence inns I have stayed at. The rooms are also very spacious. I look forward to staying here again. I am a Marriott Gold member.

I often stay at the Residence Inn located in Sparks as my office is right around the corner. The rooms are always clean, everyone is friendly and as an added bonus they even do breakfast as well as mixers a few times a week. Being a longer stay type of hotel you don’t usually find that. This time around I enjoyed tacos / nachos one night and the next I had potato skins that were SO good. I also want to note that the staff is ALWAYS so helpful. This time there was a young lady by the name of Rose. She was so helpful and pleasant to talk to. If you want a stress free stay in a clean room with great staff, look no further and BOOK now!!

So far, this has been best place to stay in Sparks away from the casinos. I am in the area twice a month and finding a decent place to stay outside of casinos is difficult. I loved this property, full kitchen, comfortable bed and great bathroom. Free fast WiFi and HBO was a plus and it doesn't hurt being so close to all the amenities at Legends. Making this my 'go to' property from now on.

The rooms are very nice. The mangers are helpful, especially Patrick. The breakfast is well beyond my expectation. The hotel is next to a small lake and has a nice walking path. The only short coming is housekeeping. Some days they did not come at all. When I asked for our room to be refreshed sometimes they would, sometimes they wouldn’t. I had to take out our garbage multiple times. If the hotel fixed housekeeping it would be a great place to stay.

We spent 4 very comfortable nights here. The location is ideal for walking the 2.5 mile circuit of the Sparks Marina Park. The proximity to the Legends Mall is perfect for walking to restaurants, outlet stores and an IMAX movie theater. The free breakfast was quite good as well with hot/fresh breakfast items provided through out the service.

First time staying at the Residence Inn Reno/Sparks and was extremely pleased. Our room was a studio as there were no 1 bedrooms available. It was spacious, quiet, clean and well designed. Having the kitchen area was a plus. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. In the mornings even with the hotel being full with a Little League Baseball tournament they were able to handle a big breakfast rush with a smile.
