Enjoyed the atmosphere. People at the hotel were great and very helpful. Nice location by the Rail and the strip with walking distance. Had great weather for October and Did a lot of walking. really liked the quite of the campus and the benches outside.
I was attending a convention and this hotel was directly across the street so I could walk over and not have to pay parking at the convention center or at the hotel. The room was very comfortable, clean, and quiet! A wonderful change from large hotels or ones on the strip. Hot breakfast was great and the staff phenomenal. It was home away from home with a full kitchen.
If you're looking for a nice non casino hotel off strip - but not too far off - and you're looking for space, then the RI is a great choice. We've stayed at this property many times over the years and its always a good choice when we tire of staying at Strip hotels. We had a queen studio which was just the perfect size for 2 adults. Fully equipped kitchen and the shower was hot and had plenty of pressure. We had an upstairs unit which was nice so we didn't have to hear anyone clomping around above us. (Learned that mistake from a previous stay!) We stayed in building 7 which faces the back so that was really nice. Hotel was quiet - at least where we were - which is nice at night when you want to sleep. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make sure our room and our son's room were together. They even went out of their way to make sure my brother & his wife's room was close to ours when they checked in the following day. Didnt eat at the free continental breakfast since we brought food from home to cook, but it looked busy and fully stocked from the typical fruit, yogurt, cereal, to eggs and biscuits and gravy, pancakes, etc. Our only complaint was the bed was very soft and the pillows were the typical feather pillows that have zero support! The AC worked great although a bit loud when it clicks on at night. Plenty of TV channels to choose from including HBO. Overall a very nice stay. Ask for the AAA rate if you have it. This hotel only has the queen studios and the 2 bedroom units. Wish it had 1 bedroom units but that's a very minor issue especially if its only 2 people - the studios are still a great space.
If you don't want a hotel on the strip but want to be close, this is a decent choice. It is a half-mile walk to the strip. Rooms and bed are comfortable but the hotel needs some upgrades. Cable TV is limited with most channels not HD. Internet speed is terrible. Do not pay for Premium Internet as it is not faster than the free internet!
Designer studios with fully equipped kitchens, Gas grills by the pool area, hot tubs only a few steps away from your door. Then you've got helpful and friendly staff members like Mari going above and beyond, bringing that good energy into the environment. Makes unwinding after a convention and feeling at home a little easier.
We spent 3 nights here on our third and most recent trip to Las Vegas. There had been a hiccup with bookings when we arrived (our fault, not theirs) but Susan G on reception was absolutely fantastic and managed to sort things out by the time we came back from our evening meal. She was enormously efficient and cheerful throughout and we were very grateful for her efforts. All other staff that we met during the stay were similarly friendly and pleasant - I hope the Marriott appreciates what it has got! The room itself (we had an apartment) was big and comfortable; our only minor complaint would be that it was dark as the window was shaded by a big tree and other properties. However, who spends long in their room in Las Vegas? It was also a bit off the beaten track (walking in Las Vegas is exhausting!) but Uber meant that we could easily get to and from the Strip in just a few minutes. Overall, the property was very clean, quiet and just what we wanted. We would have no hesitation at all about booking here again in the future.
Location is good and staff are quite friendly. Property look and feel is nothing to write home about. The Monday night food spread was pretty embarrassing - some cheese and crackers, a creamy soup perhaps spinach but it wasn't labeled, bud light and "red" wine, and some sort of hot appetizer but I can't recall what it was. Anyway, there is a fantastic Italian restaurant one block away that is worth the walk or you can hop on the monorail across the street and get to lots of places. The pool is clean and about twice the size of a residential home pool, but nothing special. Property is loud at night - but that has more to do with being in Vegas than anything else. If you use uber, be aware that the uber app takes drivers to the back of the property, where they will find a locked gate - if you want to be picked up near the lobby, make sure you contact your driver to let them know you are on Paradise Road.
A very nice hotel where you feel comfortable, safe and the staff is amazing!! Clean, great food and location !! I enjoy staying there !! Very Reasonable priced, would definitely recommend:) You can never go wrong w Marriott's!!
Stayed here for a week and it could not have been better. The staff were efficient and friendly. I was attending a conference in the convention center and the location could not have been more perfect. Susan on Front Desk went above and beyond the call of duty. The room was amazing and perfect for those evenings you were tired and just wanted to stay "home" and order in or even to cook a meal in the well stocked kitchen. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again no problem.
We stayed at the Residence Inn for my son's basketball tournament. It was super convenient because it was right across the street from the convention center and we had a lovely kitchen to be able to cook our own food and the children could eat whenever they wanted. However The staff at the residence Inn was the best part of our stay. They were so kind and friendly and accommodating. In addition, the facilities were very clean, the complementary breakfast in the morning were full breakfasts and very tasty. There are also multiple good restaurants along Paradise road to choose from that are much more affordable than those on the strip. We plan on staying there again next year!
