My wife and I stayed at this property for our recent trip. First, the location is great. Not far from the strip and across from the tram that goes to the casinos on the strip so you don't have to drive. The staff was very nice and accommodating and the hot breakfast was ok. The grounds are nice and well kept as well. The unit had a microwave, full fridge and dishwasher. My biggest complaints are that the furniture in the room was a bit dated. There were stains on our couch and the tables looked a bit beat up. Our bed, while comfortable, seemed imbalanced and our feet felt higher than our head. This property is ok, but falls a bit below the standard I've come to associate with Marriott properties.
Our second stay at this place and still so happy and fully satisfied with the service. Brunch was good and the staff ELLEN made it more great & pleasant with her nice service. Her smiles & charms serving guests made it more for us to feel so special👍😍 Me & my friends, love the hospitality we get from this kind of lovely person. Thank you for a wonderful stay. The stay was pleasant with only drawback of no bell service at this hotel. The staff was rude and refused any help when I requested for assistance for bell boy for bringing down our heavy luggage from 1st floor. Location was only plus. Breakfast was ok. Facilities were not impressive. Parking was good.
I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights for an expo at the convention center. This hotel is really well located if you are going to the convention center. It is however a 20 min walk from where the interesting stuff starts on the strip. If you want to reach the center of the strip you would need about 45-50min of walk. If you are on a low budget, this hotel is really good since a very complete breakfast is offered (and even some variety from day to day in the hot food section). The room are well equipped with a full size fridg, oven and microwave. The staff was extremely nice during all of my stay, being polite, smiling, helpful and even funny. When i'll go back to vegas, my budget will influence where I'll stay, if I want to save money on hotel to spend it elsewhere I'll definately go back there as I don't mind walking. But if money is no issue, I wouls probably select an hotel more in the core of the strip.
If your not to picky this property is a good budget choice. Old furnishing but clean and pool for the kids. Walkable to the strip or short Uber ride. Well equipped kitchen for do it your self and BBQ grills on the property. Breakfast included nothing fancy.
Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and it was perfect for us. We were traveling with our fur babies and needed a pet friendly. The hotel is also right across the street from the monorail so we were able to utilize that to access the strip. The hotel has the best breakfast included that we have ever had. So many choices, food was fresh and tasty and staff very cheerful. The room we had was a studio so queen bed, kitchen and living area. Enjoyed having the kitchen for snacks and the odd sandwich etc. The only negative and this isn't the hotels fault but one of our bikes were stolen. The thief broke 3 locks. Must have brought along his tools because the cable he cut was very thick. The laugh kinda on him as my husband rides with clips so no pedals must have been a slow getaway. However this happened in broad daylight. We were shocked as we have traveled all over Canada and parts of USA and the bike hitch and locking system we use has never been compromised. Guess what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas lol.
We chose this property because there were 5 of us - 2 adults and 3 children ages 16, 13 and 8. Staying on the Strip in two rooms was not an option. We stayed in the two bedroom loft which was MORE than enough space for us. The two full bathrooms were a lifesaver when 5 people needed to get ready at the same time. While we did not use the kitchen amenities, it was nice to have a refrigerator to put leftovers in and to have the washer/dryer onsite for a quick load of laundry to help with less packing. Overall, this is a great property. While it is older, we did not notice any wear and it was super clean. Beds were comfy (except the sofa sleeper) and the grounds were well maintained. The breakfast area was a bit tight and not well laid out. Go early to avoid the crowds and no seating. It is a bit of a walk to the Strip, so plan on using the monorail or Lyft to get to and from the Strip.
Coming to Vegas, my friends and I was looking more towards an extended stay hotel then just an average say strip room. I knew Marriott had great extended stay hotels so here I am looking up prices for a 2 bedroom suite with a full size kitchen. I came across this residence inn with everything we wanted, I did like it actually had a loft as an additional bedroom. We booked for the dates of 3/8-10/18. During check in everything was smooth plus I was able to let the front desk via the Marriott app I want to checkin @ 9am and guess what, we were able to get checkin and got the keys and parking pass and headed to room 1124. One thing I didn’t like was you have to use your room key at this box thing to enter the parking lot. But I guess that’s because of the paid parking on the strip. The room itself was excellent. I actually liked that there was a fireplace that actually take wood instead of a standard electric or gas fire place. During our stay I was able to extend our stay till 3/11/2018 due to we wanted to stay in Vegas an extra day. Boy was I glad. Will I stay here again? Yes
It is a fine place to stay, a great place to stay someplace quite in a very busy and noisy town. A cheap 10 dollar Lyft ride to any where on the strip. The service was excellent the staff friendly, attentive, and helpful. The facilities.need an update and some TLC. Nothing is close to walk but that isn't a problem since Vagas is where LYfts, Ubers, and taxis travel in great heards thundering down Last Vagas Ave.
I stayed here for 1 month and although this hotel was not chosen by me, there were a fair few positives. I didn't go eat at the breakfast but saw there was nothing more than cereals and pastries. I stayed for a month and got to experience it for a long time. There is a pool, spa and half court basketball court but I did not utilise these. The location was a real plus. Being parallel to the strip meant you were close enough to walk but still able to drive to the hotel with out the traffic that is seen on the strip. Taxis to the strip were ~$8. The monorail is directly opposite the hotel. One way ticket is $5 so you can get unto the MGM Grand - via numerous stops on the way. There are no real restaurants within walking distance apart from the Italian Restaurant next door - although there are few alright ones down near the other Residence Inn Hughes Centre. I stayed in a two bedroom loft. The room was older but very functional. The kitchen consists of dishwasher, oven, stove, microwave and a full size fridge with ice maker. Each bedroom had a its own bathroom, bed and tv. The downstairs room had doors to close for privacy however the upstairs loft is open. This was not the best as there was a lot of light let in. If the top room was being used that person was unable to sleep in due to the light. Pros: - Location, lots of carparks, decent amount of washing machines/dryers Cons: - No curtain pelmets (lets in way too much light), the cement walk ways need the gaps filled in to make it a smooth path. Every morning if sleeping in, you are woken by the cleaning carts traveling on the paths with its hard wheels making a noise every time they hits the gaps. Either fill in the cement gaps or get rubber soft wheel ons the carts.
