I called in advance because we needed to shorten our stay by one day. They said if we didn’t check in on the day reserved they would cancel our whole reservation (3 nights). I had to check in over the phone even though we arrived the following day. The room had no trash bins, no hair dryer, no chairs, just a table, no hangers and the linen was used! The bedding and the pillows smelled and had stains all over. Toiletries and towels only for one person, there were 3 of us. After seeing that we did not dare to go eat the breakfast at the hotel.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS SH!THOLE!

This hotel should not be listed on Hotels.com. What a pathetic dump. Filthy in common areas and rooms. Staff says they’re remodeling that’s why rooms are in bad condition - then why rent them?!?! We checked into one filthy room. The coffee table was taped together with duct tape. Carpets and upholstery stained and possible toxic. Big holes in walls covered with cardboard and duct tape. Second room was similar, but heat and AC not working. We left and went to Best Western which was clean and well-run.

Simple stay for what we needed

Simple location for what we needed for a gymnastics competition. Lovely staff and even with the construction very welcoming. Great location close to the airport and freeway. Will definitely stay again in the future.

My husband and i stayed one niggt and the experience was bad. The lobby was clean but when we checked in the receptionist was talking on the phone. When we got t the room the carpet was dirty and stained, the lights in the shower part of the bathroom did not work very well, and the shower was leaking. The neighbors in the other rooms were loud.

We traveled for a Basketball Tournament. Stayed here before and had a good experience, this time was terrible. Our room smelled bad, had no towels, the Drawers were broken, had to wait for front desk help for awhile before anyone came.

This property has potential, and they are renovating. I was placed in two different renovated rooms. One had limited power supply, lights and outlets would not work, nor was their TV service in either room. The Direct TV service is off, and you couldn’t even download apps to watch. They have breakfast closed due to renovation, but they aren’t renovating the breakfast area while I was there. I was suppose to stay two nights, but requested and received a day early checkout. I went to a hotel that had the necessary amenities as advertised. Book with caution, as the exterior of the property is also very dirty, trash everywhere, etc. Disappointing for the brand.

Bath towels available 7. Not too far from downtown Reno Cons: 1. Dirty comforters with black stains 2. Blood-stained bed sheet (could have been serious health hazard if it was not changed in time) 3. Orbitz shows free breakfast, but they don’t provide it. 4. Microwave does not work 5. Table lamps worked one night but not the next 6. Bathroom sink drains very slowly 7. Some electric outlets work, but some don’t

I used to like La Quinta. After staying at this property I will likely not stay at a La Quinta again. The property was very run down. The shower would not turn off. The promised hot breakfast was a bagged sugar roll. Staff was surly. There was a note saying renovations were underway but this property should not have been in operation in its current condition. Until this property is fully renovated, avoid it like the plague.
