Stayed Oct 20 to 22 in room 327. No major concerns. Check in and check out are very quick. The gym is tiny but fine . Recently renovated and very clean Food is very good and restaurant right on site The only weird thing is room service comes with a note to either call them or leabe your tray outside your door for cleanup. I didn't feel like calling and left it out my door and it was still there 23 hours later until I mentioned to the nice front desk lady. Otherwise all was great and I will stay here for future trips
My wife and I were driving from Winnipeg to Saskatoon to spend the Thanksgiving holiday with her Mom. We were close to midnight getting to Regina...very tired...and decided to stay there. We'd stayed once before in this hotel doing the same trip. So we took a chance, called ahead to the system reservation desk, and booked a room. When we arrived, the construction underway in the entryway made getting to the reception desk a bit awkward. But not as awkward as discovering that we'd accidentally committed to stay the night at another ( the "South") Holiday Inn. Not the location (the "East") we wanted at all. The very helpful night receptionist...his name was Mo...called the other hotel once the surprise of our not having a reservation was dealt with...after we realized our mistake. He overcame some initial resistance from the other hotel's night receptionist and got the credit card payment we'd made transferred to his location. So we could stay where we wanted to. Such a small, simple service. But so important at midnight, when you're tired. And a little embarrassed by your own mistake. And worried about being forced into an overnight hotel experience you didn't plan for, and didn't want. When you feel a little vulnerable and uncertain... Thanks, Mo. You deserve recognition for your kindness and your professionalism.
Travelling through and needed one night. Reception was efficient and professional. Very welcoming. Room clean and comfortable. Nice toiletries provided. Room had desk, microwave, fridge and coffee maker. Quiet and on Transcanada. Very convenient.
After a hot, driving trip it was nice to have an air-conditioned, Clean, quiet, updated comfortable room. Beds & pillows comfortable. Friendly staff. Very tasty breakfast at Perkins. Location very accessible. Will stay again when in the area.
Good location in downtown, parking and breakfast included, which was a bonus for us, rooms clean and comfortable, staff very friendly and at tentative, overall good value for the money, only downside if parking lot was full you had to park in another lot around the corner, not a problem for us though.
There isn't a pool just so you guys know it's all fake if the say there's a pool then you would look forward to swimming but there isn't one so it's false advertising I was pretty upset about that. Bad
Is a nice place to stay if you are family with children, there seemed to be a lot of them during our stay. Rooms are very clean and updated, some of the common areas and Perkins Restaurant could use a bit of TLC. Value priced. Ask for seniors rates!
First of all the staff at this location were amazing. We had arrived in our newly renovated room and there was an over powering "air freshener scent". It gave me an instant headache. We called down to the front desk, and they sent up a lovely gentleman who took us to different rooms until we found one with less "scent". We slept and as soon as we could we left the hotel because I woke up with the same headache and my eyes were puffy. I would encourage the management to about going "scent free" as it is better for both guest and the environment.
Hotel is in a good location close to stores and malls on the east end of the city. Very reasonably priced. Also has Perkins restaurant and beer store attached. Kids loved the water slide which is supervised by a lifeguard. Staff are friendly and helpful. Stayed in a family suite which is huge and very comfortable with 2 flat screen Tv's, 2 king size beds, a sitting area, fridge, sink, Keurig, microwave and a bedroom area. Rooms are clean and well supplied. Have stayed here on 2 occasions and will stay again. Hotel is receiving some updates and renovations.
The suite was roomy, with a king bed, queen bed and a pull out couch. There is a nice restaurant attached to the hotel. The kids enjoyed the water slide. A very nice man was working around the pool, however, other staff members were not so helpful.
