I stay at Marriotts often and find this one in Pullman to be another excellent hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. My room was clean and quiet, even with some construction nearby. If you are a parent of a WSU student, or visiting, this is the place to stay - it is essentially on campus.
We stayed here for two nights before starting a Rhine River cruise. The hotel was lovely and we enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The Pullman is very centrally located - the streetcar stops out front, but it's also an easy walk to the heart of Basel if you prefer to walk. The hotel was very well-maintained and clean. Our room had a rainfall showerhead and bathrobes and slippers! The hotel was very quiet; our room looked out over a small courtyard in the back filled with flowers. The breakfast was great - plenty of food with a wide selection. Service is terrific and everyone spoke excellent English. The hotel even has electric adapter kits you can borrow if you don't have the right adapter. A great stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
We have stayed at this property numerous times for golf tournaments at Palouse Ridge. We love the rooms, the breakfast and the proximity to the golf course. We have always had great service. And this visit was no exception. This time, we were in a hurry to check out and ended up leaving a bunch of clothes in one of the drawers in the room. We realized this and called the hotel that evening. They transferred us to housekeeping where I spoke to a very nice lady who had our stuff and offered to send it to us the next day. It arrived via FedEx within 2 days. Now that is good service! We love this property and stay there any time we are in Pullman. It's nice they are building another Marriott (Courtyard) right next door.
We traveled to Pullman for a WSU Graduation ( our grandson ). This is such a pleasant place to stay. Check in was very quick, and the desk person quite friendly. The room was comfortable and very clean. It also has glasses, plates, a microwave ... all things you can appreciate when staying for a few days. There is a sofa ( sitting area ), wide desktop/counter, and of course the appropriate device friendly charging sockets. The bathroom had both a shower, and bathtub, in separate areas allowing two people to get ready ... plus a double vanity. Each morning the hotel provides a breakfast with a variety of items. There is plenty of seating for guests, or you could take your plate back to your room. In the evening there is a well stocked bar available in the lounge. We like this location because you can walk to the stadium or arena, or anywhere else on campus. It's hilly, but good exercise. There is ample parking for all the guests, and an indoor pool. It's easy to recommend this location ... convenient, friendly, comfortable.
My husband and I were impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. Although our room was a studio King, it was perfect for us - great size, clean, comfortable bed, quiet, and we even had a cute fully equipped kitchen. Complementary breakfast was an added bonus in helping start the day. We wished we had been able to take advantage of more of the hotel's perks, however Mother Nature had her own plans. ;) We were in Pullman for my sisters ROTC & WSU graduations so it was crowded everywhere but having a hotel a within a nice walking distance to & from the graduation locations was one less thing to worry about. My only negative was at check-in. I walk in expecting a warm "welcome, how may I help you". That is no where close to the first impression I received. (Not to mention hotel being privy to only a small chunk of info encompassing all the travel difficulties and extra cost we encountered prior to us arriving a day later for our reservation check-in.) Unfortunately I walk in, stand at the counter patiently to check-in only to watch two employees working at/around a computer together but NEVER once acknowledge me (a female & male - older, tall male I later found out was a manager?! but now I've forgotten his name). Eventually a third individual arrived and she graciously assisted me with check-in. Friendly and informative as the majority of the staff were, thank you! We would stay at this hotel again if we are ever in the area. Recommend!
What a nice change after years of staying at the Holiday Inn. This hotel is nice and new and is a 20 minute walk to the CUB. The staff was very friendly and the rooms are HUGE. Easily the best place to stay in Pullman.
I love that Marriott opened up in Pullman! This hotel is very clean, friendly and inviting. They have so many areas that you can hang out and enjoy time with family. The breakfast is a nice option and the rooms are very large and clean!
You'll be pleasantly surprised when you arrive in your room. The configuration is not your normal long, rectangular room. The modern kitchenette is well appointed both visually and practically with an eating counter facing your sufficiently-sized lounge area. This area has an L-shaped sleeper sofa with a chaise lounge on one end and a substantial desk area with great lighting which faces the picture window overlooking the east side of the WSU campus. The television can swivel to be viewed from the sofa or around from the comfortable bed which also has a picture window nearby to let in the Palouse sunshine. Turn the corner from the lounge area and you'll find a nice counter with drawers underneath and a mirror mounted on the wall and an adequate closet. The spacious shower bathroom contains a sizeable tiled shower with plenty of room for your toiletries on a shelf.
Great location. Breakfast is perfect! Planning on frequent stays over the next 7 years. Hopefully, I can always stay at the Residence Inn. Great staff and accommodations. All the rooms are spacious and parking is easy.
Stayed here for one night while in town. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a nice gym facility as well as laundry area. Included in the room is a free breakfast that was pretty decent, but nothing special. All in all I would stay here again. It was a solid night stay at a good rate.
