Margaritaville was a beautiful resort. Nice location. There is currently no beach but the people are working hard on cleaning up the seaweed and soot. The smell on hot days from the beach gets to be a little overpowering. The pool needs better upkeep as well as work. There was concrete erosion, chunks on the bottom of the pool especially where the water arobics and swim up bar is located. The beach chairs are nice and there was no shortage of them. The swim up bar staff were lovely. The Landshark Bar was nice and the food was pretty tasty. The servers were attentive and advised of any time delays for the delivery of our food. There was not much to do at nighttime. They could use some live entertainment not only at the Landshark. The lounge was nice but not much activity there at night either. Most of the staff were friendly but you could really feel the pressure for both tips and reviews on their service. We paid a lot of money for the all inclusive resort and gave good tips when we had good service. Overall, I would not go back there.

Clean room - great option to put clean room switch on as you leave for breakfast for example Excellent staff - everyone was so nice and attentive Nice pools and resort Fun aqua aerobics!! Fun pool games and water volleyball Pickleball Cooking classes Only downfall….If you have reactions to highly perfumed smells (closing of throat, headache, coughing etc). Stay away from the spa. Even the lady that do my massage said the smell in reception is too much for her. Once you get to relaxation room even worse. Thankfully the water rooms and actual treatment room didn’t have that aroma. Was not fun to spend the money I spent for hours at the spa for a multi treatment only to be coughing and coughing and getting a headache due to smell.

My stay was excellent… I did not expect a “5-Diamond” resort with what I paid.. I got exactly what I was expecting.. a great resort with a great brand and they delivered. The room, facility, pools, bats and restaurants were pretty darn good for an “all inclusive” resort. I would not hesitate to stay there again. My only recommendation to the resort is that the brand clothing was very limited and the inventory for size was laughable.. almost all the clothing shown for sale was only available in small size. Also the prices were very high.

This was the worst vacation ever! The pools are dirty on day 2 i got food poisoning had to pay 800 for 3 different doctors waste of money the food was nasty the beach is muddy no white sand. Horrible place!!!!! Find somewhere else to stay i have been to cancun 4 times this is the only worst resort i stayed at!!!!!

Margaritaville was an excellent resort. I will definitely stay there again. The rooms were very nice, the resort was clean, and the activities on the resort were a good mix, so everyone is able to find something they would enjoy. The staff was very friendly. Margaritaville has around 350 rooms, so the resort did not feel crowded. There were plenty of loungers by the pool. Unfortunately, the beach in front of the resort was unusable, as there was a lot of debris from the recent hurricane. This is no fault of the resort, and there were people actively cleaning the water and sand. The one drawback was that you had to take a taxi to go anywhere off resort. It certainly wasn't a deal breaker, just something to be aware of. I highly recommend staying here.

Resort was pristine. Very clean! Pools were not crowded but very cold! Service was not wonderful and food was less than good. Couldn’t get reservations at the restaurants- claimed they were booked up, but when we walked by, maybe 50% of tables full. Forced to eat at the buffet or the Landshark (which did have spectacular lunches). Friday nights two of the four restaurants closed altogether. Long wait at all bars for drinks. No nightlife or beach. At least the sunrises were spectacular!

Friendly and helpful staff in all the areas of the resort. The rooms were clean and well-kept by room attendants. The pool is clean and spacious. The gym area is good for a resort and had multiple options for fitness classes. One item that needs a little attention is the buffet food temperature. Would be nicer if you didn't have to take transportation to a beach. The resort points would also be more useful if you could use them for something other than beer, soda and chips.

Got played into a. Smaller room with no reimbursement. Workers didn’t really care about you even if you tipped them lots of money. It’s all inclusive with nothing to really do in the resort an if you want to you have to spend hundreds of more dollars to do it and they expect a tip on top of that lol food wasn’t the best. They charge you for a bottle but alcohol is free? They stop serving after 1 which I think is a little strange. There’s no night life in this resort as well.
