Safety Concerns - Would not recommend

The hotel was clean and recently updated. However I had 3 separate incidents occur during my stay that insured I will never be back. The first was a maintenance issue which was resolved by moving me to a new room (fine, not a big deal). The second issue occurred shortly after - a man entered the room while I was showering to service the TV. Important to note that I did not request/have any TV issues and was completely unaware someone would be entering my room. As a female staying alone in the hotel, safety is always a concern, and this was incredibly unsettling. Finally, on my second night, the fire alarm went off at 2am. We had to evacuate our rooms for 30+ minutes, and I was informed a group of young guests were smoking in their room, triggering the fire alarm. So despite the cleanliness and updates in the hotel, I had a horrible experience and would not recommend.

Check in was quick and easy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I found my room to be very comfortable and quiet. I was a little concerned about noise when my room was directly behind the elevator. I heard nothing! It was great.

Ants in my room

Planed a Valentine night out. Checked in at 11:00 after dinner only to wake up to ants all over our room. When I called the desk to complain as I should the manager told me to call the booking agency since it was through a third party and they couldn’t do anything for me! I said I will but this is still your hotel. I was looking for a little understanding as this was very upsetting. Iv never had bugs in a hotel before and paid good money for the room. she told me to calm down then hung up the phone on me. Needless to say that didn’t make me feel any better. She was very immature and unprofessional. I went down to the front desk and confronted her. She laughed then some guy came over and he was very defensive. Again they just tell me Not our problem call booking. Never will I stay at a Hampton inn ever again
