The room was clean but no shampoo in the shower. Just paper cups in the room. Trash in the ice room from take out that was there the 3 days we were there. No hot chocolate for the kids. Daniela was nice at the desk and Grumpy Grandpa at the valet went above and beyond. Unfortunately I feel the hotel has become nothing special and we will probably seek other lodgings on our future trips to Portsmouth.

The room was very clean and spacious. A disappointment was that the bar was closed. We chose the hotel, because they had a bar. We were notified about the closed bar via email on the day of check in. Our reservation was non refundable. That is not fair. Another disappointment was the TERRIBLE breakfast. The eggs must have been powdered. That and all other supposed hot items were cold or lukewarm at best. Orange juice dispensed clear like water. Ugh. Valet parking at $45 per was not shown in Hotel.com. It only said parking available.

Breakfast was not good. Room was clean. Dan (reception) was great! Horrbily loud people outside our room from about 11:30 pm until almost 1:00 am. Peeped out and saw they were all dressed up and obviously part of a big wedding party.

My wife and I headed to Portsmouth NH for a last minute getaway. Met by a very friendly and professional receptionist. Our room wasn't ready so he upgraded us to a suite. We headed out for the day. The valet was very helpful with recommendations. The next morning breakfast was adequate and we headed home. Very nice stay.
