We'd like to start by saying Thank you for staying with us. We are sorry to here you did not like our breakfast we do only have a continental breakfast as we advertise on our site and unfortunately we do have a 24-hour cancellation policy per hotel and per expedia's policy. We have been doing a lot of wonderful upgrades to our hotel and do hope you will come and stay with us again to see all the changes we will be making over time. Thank you again for staying with us.


relaxing place to stay


Location is right off the highway. Easy access to downtown Portsmouth, or the malls and shopping. Clean nicely run hotel.

pleasantly surprised! fantastic newly remodeled!


It was far better than I expected. They appear to be about 80% done their remodeling and it is coming along great! The 1st and 3d floor are completely re done. The pool and hot tub are open and are excellent. The location is great also as we took Uber out in the eve. for eats and drinks and was only a mile away. Altough it is close to the highway we did not hear any cars. Very quiet! The complimentary breakfast was better than expected. Cereal, muffins, coffee, juices, milk, tea, waffles, fruit such as apples, oranges ans bananas. I would also like to commend the staff especially the manager, a very professional young man named Cameron. He was helpful, astute, attentive, professional and knowledgeable. He is clearly a great asset to the hotel and we hope that his superior know that. He made our experience outstanding with direction help, early check in help, and such a calm demeanor when he was in the middle of a busy check-in time. In addition.....I just looked at some negative reviews and I have to say that some of the things guests stated are innaccurate or exaggerated. The bathrooms were clearly average size, beds VERY comfortable, great breakfast for FREE.As far as breakfast, go down about 10 min before it is over and there are only a few people there and yes, the food is still there. Wallpaper peeling everywhere. Pool not working. Not as pictured on the internet.

AC worked intermittently. Room to far for wi-fi to work. Hotel under construction, was put near workers and hotel wasn't full, so was noisey. Breakfast only until 9am.

not what i expected


The first tip should have been that the clerk sent me in the wrong direction for my room. I was in the basement and he sent me up the stairs. Second should have been the peeling paint in the bathroom. third was that the A/C was not easy to adjust. Fourth was the moths in the room. Pool and spa, not working at the busiest time of the year.

great location


The hotel is well maintained and close to the highway and downtown. It was a severly cold and we looked forward to using the hot tub but it was not working. It was hard to keep the temperature in the room at a comfortable rate. The breakfast was very good. There were no problems with noise despite the hotel being very full.

I'd like to start by saying Thank you for taking the time to write a review for our hotel. I am sorry that the hot tub was down, we are working on getting that fixed as soon as possible. I am also sorry that it was so hard to keep your room warm. With that awful cold weather we were trying to keep everyone comfortable. I do hope you called the front desk to let us know of the heat problem, we have someone at the desk 24 hours a day to help with any problems that may come up. We do hope you will come and see us again soon when the hot tub is up and running. Again thank you for you review and I'm very glad to hear that the rest of your stay was great.

Girls weekend shopping. It was very comfortable and met our needs. Pool was nice. Hot tub too hot.

worst night ever!!!


This hotel was the worst ever. The decor is old and dingy. It smells musty and wet. There was other people's hair in the shower and on the towels. A bed bug crawled on the covers in front of my husbands face as we were watching tv in the morning.It was horrible. We reported it to the staff and the expected us to catch the bed bug in a tissue and bring it to the desk, yea right, we couldn't get out fast enough. The staff is very rude and unprofessional.

Generally - good value. Hotel staff very nice. Breakfast Waffles were very good. Rest of breakfast menu not appetizing. Internet is slow.
