Staff was pleasant. Great Price for what we got. They were under renovations but the only thing in our room that looked renovated was the bathroom, and the back of the toilet was loose. The rest of the room seemed just basic. The coffee maker in the bathroom? Not only a weird place to have it but it didn’t even brew the coffee/leaked water everywhere. Overall if it was a quick stop, I’d come back but for more than one night, I wouldn’t.
Overall, our stay was quite pleasant, it was just that the facility is under rehabilitation construction and the gym and pool were not available which we didn't find out until a few days before the stay. There was a lot of equipment and materials in the parking lot and not much of a view being right off the highway. Otherwise, it was very convenient to downtown Portsmouth and we used it a base for going to York Beach 20 minutes away.

The entire property is under renovation, very unsafe parking lot, debris flying around everywhere, my car was covered in styrofoam in minutes of parking. Pool area closes, no breakfast like advertised, you get a paper bag with frozen jimmy deans breakfast sandwiches instead.
We should have notified that this place was under construction They should close until it's finished

The hotel was run down with a permanently closed hot tub and broken door locks. The beds were uncomfortable and the breakfast was very basic.
