The room was clean and everything functional. One of the beds had a broken row of springs that caused it to sag on one side. The breakfast is a few different bread items, juice, coffee, microwave egg sandwiches and cereal.

I travel in summer from Maryland to Midcoast Maine. I love to stop at Howard Johnson (originally called America’s Best Inn) in Portsmouth, NH because it is quiet, clean, has a night desk, a nice breakfast and the employees are friendly!
