It's very close to the highway and not on a terrible part of town. Staff was friendly and helpful..... We did not get the king size bed we signed up for, not sure they exsist (i dont see how they would fit in this room) Not sure if its their policy or if people ruined this experience and the hotel had to adapt. Even though you have a kitchenette, you have to "rent" pots, pans and dishes from the front desk. They dont do housekeeping everyday ( we stayed for 6 nights and didnt quality for someone to come clean) When you need new towels or sheets you have to bring the dirty ones to the desk and trade them for clean ones. The free breakfast is coffee, little debbie mini muffins and nature valley bars. Its not the worst but the other guests chowing down is a huge turn off. It seemed more like an apartment complex and at 5am the lobby is filled with construction workers who get in 2 vans to go to work. Their one vending machine doesnt take money and the laundry only takes quarter. I would not stay here again. I would pay the extra or EQUAL amount to stay at a real hotel. (Or rent a cabin)

The hotel is conveniently located for me. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room smelled a bit 'off.' It was not dirty. I was simply crashing for a night and it was fine for the money. It's a no frills place. Perfect value. Lots of utility workers use this hotel, so expect to see a lot of guys who look like they have been working! I like the quick grab and go breakfast.

Everything was great and I'll definitely be staying again.

Must be lot of smoking rooms Lightning and pillow cover bed sheets needs change

I was a little disappointed when I finally found the hotel i was booked at. It wasn't in a great area, and the "kitchen" left a lot to be desired. The worst was the bed...it was as hard as a rock and not easy to sleep in. I won't be visiting this establishment again. Price was pretty high for location and amenities.

the hotel was clean and comfortable, we were very satisfied with the room. Visiting family so not in the room very long. It served our purpose very nicely

visited family for a surprise birthday party

Went to Vancouver for birthday, had a good time but left early due to back pain. (Bed didn't help)

The room was spacious but The kitchen was lacking the pans, and cutlerie I needed to make a decient meal. They only provided me with plastic cups i had to ask for a glass cup and the shower was not wiped down to my satisfaction. I had to go out to eat one night. and I spent 12$ on my meal that I diddn't feel was justified.

If you are having to do much traveling in the area the hotel is two blocks for I-205. Also, there are quite a few places to eat close by. Rooms were clean, it was nice to have a kitchen there. Wireless worked which always makes me happy.

If you are looking for a great place on a budget, I would recomend the Vancouver Extended Stay. Keep in mind this is a no frills facility, you are paying for a clean room with a kitchenette, good bed, an eating table plus desk, a recliner and a somewhat small TV to todays standards. The onsite laundry machines were a plus, as were the great staff. This facility is close to the 205 Freeway giving you quick acess to downtown Portland (10 mins) There were some good resturants within walking distance and a Starbucks across the street. We will definitly be using the Extended Stay America chain on our future trips, they are a great inexpensive option if you can live without the glitz and frills.

I was not pleased that people were allowed to smoke in the hallways so that my room had to smell like smoke. Since I am a single female, I did not appreciate the men that were smoking in the hall right outside my room, I didn't feel comfortable with them watching me come and go from my room. The bathtub was not clean which makes me wonder what was cleaned what wasn't.

Ashley, thank you for your feedback. Although we are glad your overall stay was a pleasant one, we are sorry to know you were not happy with the value we offer, our facilities and services. To ensure cleanliness of kitchenware upon check-in, brand standards require us to make these items available at the front desk rather than leaving them in the suites. Our housekeeping service is designed for long-term guests, offering minimal intrusion to their home-like stay; however, we are happy to offer this service to you at a minimal fee. Towels and linens may be exchanged at the front desk anytime and complimentary. Additionally, we regularly review the rates of our suites to make sure they are appropriate relative to other extended stay hotels in our area, and we also offer affordable nightly rates for longer stays. We value your business and hope you will consider us again in the future. Sincerely, General Manager
