I really wanted to love this property. I try to stay at mom and Pop type Hotels when I can.
To that, I think that the owner tried really hard to make this nice. The bathrooms have Stone look enclosures for the shower, and they do look really nice. However, that’s all undone by every single wall in the room having all the drywall seams buckling. Our nightstand still had pieces of food and beverage rings on it. The nightstand drawer was still dirty inside with dirt, sand and or crumbs. Pretty gross to be honest. The clock could not be set to the correct time. So we just unplugged it. The air conditioner had food crumbs and dirt on the slats where the air comes out.
The sheets were clean, the towels were really clean, and the bedding was definitely adequate. There was an extra blanket for each bed, which was much appreciated. It has a huge refrigerator for a room this size. That also would’ve been nice if we’ve been staying longer. They do have a coffee maker and a microwave in each room as well. Like I said, really wanted to love this place, I would probably stay again if I had to, but it wouldn’t be my first choice.
