I love Residents Inns to begin with but this one is special. The rooms were clean and quiet. It is on a residential street. The breakfast is normal for a hotel breakfast- scrambled eggs, waffles, bacon and sausage and assorted breads and fruits. One great feature is that they will shuttle guests back and forth to the Pleasant Hill Bart station. We took a day in the city. The hotel has a small outdoor pool,a small hot tub and a bbq area with grills for guest use. There is also a fire pit. All in all, we had a great experience.
This is an excellent hotel located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. It was close to shopping and the staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Would have loved to stay longer, but had to keep moving.
Our stay 6/8-6/10/2018 this property is set up like apartments. We were given a room at the back of the property near the dog relief/play area. Since we do travel with our small dog($100 pet fee). I asked for a quiet room. Room 2114 was NOT we heard the freeway noise and the neighbors doors closing. The room was ok equipped with a full kitchen, tv bath and shower. There were guest smoking on the stairs. The breakfast seemed to be a hit. I ate the same thing the 2 nights we stayed. Oatmeal, bagel and orange juice. They had waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits gravy There is a brand new Homewood suites being buit so hopefully next time we visit that property will be open.
We had a two bedroom which was beautifully decorated and clean. The only issue with this hotel is that it is so far back that you don't realize that it sits right on top of 680 until you arrive. Even with the windows closed and air conditioner on, we were able to hear the traffic noise in both the bedrooms. I love Marriott but won't stay at this one again.
Stayed here two nights in May during a business trip. Hotel is tucked away in a multi-unit residential area but easy to find. The property consists of several separate "buildings" housing several rooms per building. Of particular note, there is no elevator service to the second floor rooms, and it is about 20 stairs up to get there. My room, a studio was very spacious with a full couch, sitting chair, work desk, lots of storage, adequate sized bathroom and a full kitchen minus an oven. Everything worked well but the AC would not go below 68 degrees, and is connected to a motion switch. So if no motion is detected (like when you are sleeping) it will shut off and the room gets pretty warm. I always travel with a small desk fan and that helps a lot. Only other room issue is the building I was in (15) faced the I-680 Freeway and was very noisy during peak commute times. There is a buffet style breakfast in the lobby area every morning and it is standard chain hotel fare. Several nights a week there is a evening reception with beer (Stella was one of them) wine and light snacks. Nearest restaurants are about .3 miles away in a small corner shopping center. Overall my stay was fine-but buyer beware this is a very expensive area for hotels so be prepared to pay a lot for a room. I would stay here again if in the area.
Our stay here was wonderful! Our daughter and her 2 children came on this trip with us. There are no adjoining rooms as we requested, however they gave us rooms that faced each other. It was perfect. We could prop the doors open and the kids ran back and forth between our rooms which was just what we wanted. The kitchenette was very clean and well equipped.
If you want to leave your home for some time you need confort and that’s what they offer you. Great rooms fully equipped with kitchen. Excellent for families with children. The breakfast is very good and healthy.
Room was excellent. Had a full kitchen with accessories. Bath with shower. Excellent WIFI throughout. Nice sized flatscreen TV. Comfortable bed . Pool with hot tub. Very clean, nice staff!! Free breakfast in the morning, but I didn't try it.
I rarely like the bed I sleep in but this one was great! Room was quiet, kept clean by a great housekeeping staff. The Front Desk recognized me as a Platinum Premier, appreciate that! I did not eat breakfast nor the even socials so I cannot comment on the food. Overall I’d be very happy to stay here again.
I liked this place for the meeting we had. Good location and very quiet. Parking was good also. Those who stayed over liked the rooms. Rooms were ample and nice. If I were to stay over night I would stay here.
