Room and hotel clean and nice, but sound control could be better - room doors slam shut so you get to hear neighbors coming/going all night and morning. Also plumbing is loud - industrial toilet flushes and shower sounds transmit through otherwise well insulated room. Woken by upstairs room flushing at 6am

The tub in the bathroom filled with water during my shower! Plumbing time! Breakfast was a joke since the restaurant in the hotel didn’t have a cook, so all I could get was a muffin!

The location was convenient to wonderful museums, great dining options, and the UPMC Medical Center. All of these options were safely walkable. The staff from the front desk, dining, and cleaning were all helpful and friendly. When we return to Pittsburgh, this will be a go-to location for us.

Our bathtub would barely drain, so we were standing in ankle deep water during a shower. The maintenance guy came to the room, brought no tools, just showed us how the drain plug worked & left. It was not fixed. Not even any tissues in the room. Parking garage clearance was only 6’, they offered us outdoor parking but there was a snowstorm coming overnight and we were headed to a nearby hospital for surgery in the morning. They coul not guarantee that their “other garage” would have any parking spaces open & I had my 89 year old Dad & 87 year old Mom with me so I needed to park close.
