Although trying, they did not disclose that Construction would be going on during my stay. While they are trying to upgrade the lobby, the rooms are in sad shape. Peeling paint, terrible smell in hallway and overall need for a serious upgrade. Given the fact that it was a Wyndham I really expected more. Staff was the only redeeming quality!

Several things stood out to have me give this rating. First, we found that housekeeping had left behind a dirty wash cloth from the previous guest. Everyone has an off day so we overlooked it. But the furniture showed its wear with nicks & scratches. And the ceiling paint in the bathroom was peeled and missing in big patches. Also, the TV reception was horrible. No matter what channel we watched, the audio kept cutting out and in. Sometimes the video went as well. If your bandwidth isn’t strong enough for all your guests to enjoy streaming, perhaps you should go back to cable. Anyway, we don’t plan to stay again.

It is an older hotel. I stayed for a week and on about the third day, little gnats were in the room. I informed the front seat and they opted to change my room for me. Besides from the gnats in that room ,the staff was very very friendly, kind and accommodating, the stay was also quite and peaceful.
