Stayed here for business trip in Paris. Things i liked: I was able to secure a reservation on Expedia without making a down payment, friendly reception at the hotel was shown where to eat out on the evening that i arrived, close proximity to the metro which eased getting around for sight seeing, lots of restaurants and pubs, cosy room and tasty breakfast. Downside: Very tiny shower, but when in Paris none of that matters :)
Our room was adequate size but the bathroom and specifically the shower was very small. The area around the hotel is fantastic though. Lots of great restaurants and bars, while very close to the metro to be able to access central Paris.
Me and my friend stayed 3 nights at this Cosy hotel with great location and super nice staff. The beds and linen were very comfortable and the breakfast was simple but really good. This is very high qlty for money hotel and I would definitely return.
We found a Secret Escapes deal that meant we stayed at this hotel. Lovely hotel in Beaumarchais, excellent area for walking and bars, etc. The hotel lift was small but I quite liked that. Within the deal we got 2 nights, a free bottle of prosecco for the room, and a ticket for the bauteaux mouches, the boats along the Seine. Would definitely recommend, even without the deal!
i had a comfortable stay over the two nights weekend break with friends. my room had a good bed and although small was still spacious. Double glazing also helped for a good nights sleep. the staff were friendly and approachable and always on hand. the breakfast was functional and fine to set us for the day but i suggest the hotel partner with one of dozen bakeries in the neighbiuring streets for scrummy breakfast pasteries and breads as they were a bit disappointing in the weekend i stayed. the area is great with greats shopping streets and very well connected. notre dame is a 15 minute walk through hip streets and bars and cafes. i'd recommend the hotel to friends heading to paris for the weekend. the lounge area was recently given a modern interior design makeover.it would be nice to see same style decor in the hotel rooms.
This hotel is so easy to get to. A few stops from Gare de Nord. Could walk everywhere and the district is really trendy without being pretentious. The room we had was clean, comfortable and great value. I had a brilliant sleep. It's not fancy at all but absolutely does the job. There is a great breakfast- fresh juices, pastries, bread, eggs, jam, coffee, hams and cheeses. All tasty and good quality. The best thing about this hotel is it's wonderful staff. They are friendly, come across as genuinely happy at work, seem to get on very well with each other. Because they are happy (I hope they really are!) I think that manifests in genuinely caring for their guests. They don't come across as perfunctory at all. I would be very happy to stay here next time I'm in Paris.
Stayed here for one evening on the way to Barcelona. Hadn't done the 11th before in detail. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Usual Parisian standards stairs room and especially lift very small !! If you are young price concious students or similar fine for a few days for a budget option.
I truly can not stress enough just how good my bed was. My room was located on the 5th floor and overlooked the courtyard and the roof of the Winter Circus. The hotel is located in the Marais/Oberkampf area. It is lively in the sense that this is an area where people live and work, where people who live in Paris like to go themselves for a night out. I was prepared for this but didn't find it very noisy at all. As previously stated, I slept really well. The hotel is located close enough to everything by foot or a couple of metro/bus stops, but also out of main tourist flooded areas. The building is typical Parisian in the sense that the staircase is narrow and steep - the elevator will hold you and your suitcase. (This was expected and familiar) I felt that my room was well maintained and cared for. As a guest I felt that I was most welcome and the lovely staff was very attentive and always ready to help/answer questions. Thank you.
Location was good, bus stop and metro station were just a few steps away. However the pics posted are very different from actual room pics. The rooms were extremely outdated. We stayed in room 33 which had a broken toilet paper holder, shower head, and bedside outlet. There was just shampoo available with hand soap basically. No refrigerator and no water available for sale so if you are looking for snacks or water at night you will have to walk around the neighborhood to find it. It was an OK stay but probably would not choose it again.
Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and the staff, especially the Reception staff, were brilliant. A traditional hotel with rather a nice foyer area and impressive staircase down to the restaurant. Rooms small but more than adequate with good en-suite facilities. Very quiet at night so ideal for light sleepers. Tremendous value for money.
