The staff was super friendly, always greeted us with a smile. The location
We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel 34B. Our rooms were clean and we had adequate space. The refreshments in the mini-refrigerator were complementary and this was a nice perk. The happy hour ran from 2 pm to 2 am and this was also a nice perk when coming back late. The metro and bus stops were only a block away. The area around the hotel had plenty of eateries and small shops.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. They provided good information on local sites and transportation. Snacks were available for long hours. Very good location.
Small room but clean, staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel breakfast is great! Love their bread. Staff at the hotel restaurant are very nice too. Metro is close to the hotel. Restaurants open until late. Groceries too in the neighborhood. Will recommend to friends and family.
Only accolades, would stay there again, good location, room quiet at night in the middle of a busy section of city
Enjoyed a great breakfast every morning. Cute decor, clean and close to a Metro stop.
The good: Location was great. Very near wonderful food options, the metro/ tunnel. Staff was very nice. Price was right. The bad: the mattresses were horrible. Worn out with no padding. I can sleep anywhere, but even I found myself tossing and turning during the night. My wife could not sleep. Need to know: no a/c, no elevator ( could be 4 flights of stairs
The good: the night staff was great. Really nice and helpful. Complimentary drinks and snacks in the lobby. The lobby itself was really pretty. Good location. Off of a main street and close to the metro. Lots of places to eat. The bad: the morning and day staff weren't the nicest people. Not terrible but when we checked out and they didn't minus our 2nd reservation the man was irritated that he had to pull out a calculator to figure out our bill. Even though we told them when we checked in that we had 2 reservations. Also we wanted to pay our city tax with our left over change because it's not like we could bring it back with us and when he counted it out he only took the 1€ and 2€ coins. And left me with the cent pieces. Less than 1€ but it's still money! The room itself was ok but for some reason the gVe is the handicap room on the ground floor. Even though we came early and reserved our rooms 6 months ago. The first room was a decent size but the bathroom had no shower doors or curtains!!! We used s bunch of towels everyday just to dry the floor! And the day staff also looked at us like we were crazy or greedy for asking for more towels! Something was leaking from the ceiling so they moved us....next door. To a smaller handicap room also with no doors but the shower head was broken. We didn't feel like complaining again so we just left it. probably could have found better.
The hotel is clean and secured. We love staying their for our next trip.
