The Adagio staff is fantastic, the hotel not so much. It's okay, beds are firm and sheets clean. We had issues with bed bugs in one room and we were moved to another room only to have sugar ants in the second room. The price is good, the beds are comfortable, and the staff is excellent. If you don't mind living with a few bugs you'll be happy here. To be fair, ours friends were also staying in the Adagio and they didn't have any bugs.
Pros - Easy reach to Eiffel and public transport - Room interiors are of good quality Cons - Simply indifferent nature of ALL staff members as though they have been given punishment to serve here. Have seen cases where they have made consistent snide/sarcastic remarks to other customers. - Room design is deplorable with a weird polygon geometry along with room lighting towards entrance/mirrors which is non-existent. - Breakfast was unwholesome with majority of items overstored well past their lifespan.
Hotel was fine, as far as location is concerned. Prices are higher than the room amenities or room itself . Staff service was horrible, very uncooperative. All of them needs a fresh training as well different approach especially when you are in hotel industry .
The hotel was great. There were 3 of us staying in a room. They told us where we could find the extra pillows/blankets. They were easy to talk to and were awesome when it came to finding how to get somewhere! I would definitely recommend this place. They have laundry which is nice if you're visiting for awhile.
The room was nice -- with a small kitchen and dining area as well as a separate bedroom. The location was a bit further away from the Eiffel Tower than I thought, but still walkable in about 20 minutes. We did arrive around 2pm and our room wasn't available until 3:30pm. This was during the French Open so rooms were rather scarce in the city. For the 4 nights we were there, there was no maid service.
When I chose hotel, I was just looking for extra space. But the room had a great panorama, was nicely equipped, hence beds were already a bit dusty and need extra attention of hotel for queue on refurbishment. Very pleasant stay, like having a small oasis in Paris. Staff could be more pleasant though..
Location great. Amenities suck...........".......................................................
At arrival I was told there was a "technical" issue and the room I booked was no longer available. I was given two separate rooms instead. Would have been fine except there were several issues with one of the rooms. Also, the apt has a very strong ethnic cooking odor. Normally not a problem except in this instance it was overwhelming. Best feature was close proximity to many tourist spots as well as underground stations. Most likely would not recommend.
Our Adagio experience was excellent! Our rooms were clean, comfortable, attractive and well supplied, particularly the kitchen. The staff was professional: proficient in English, knowledgeable and anxious to help with sight-seeing, eating and shopping information. The location was within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower, Seine River, parks, good restaurants, train and other transportation means. The lobby had WI-FI. They also made arrangements for storage of our bags between check-out time and the arrival of our shuttle back to the airport.
awesome eiffel tower view , close to subway . easy walk to all the main attractions along the seine river ...
As a US tourist going to Paris for the first time I was disappointed with this hotel. I believed this hotel would be good because of the high rating, but the high star rating is deceiving. I was told I'd have Wifi in the hotel, and I did, but only in one corner of the lobby which smelled. The room had murphy beds, which one of them was broken when we arrived. When we called the front desk for help, they told us they were busy and to call back later. Mostly everyone at the front desk had an attitude. The breakfast is 14 Euros and had nothing. They only clean your room if you stay a week. The location wasn't too bad, it was about 5 blocks to the metro and about 8 to the Eiffel Tower. Overall, if you were staying in Paris for a long time and wanted to stay in a studio like apartment with no Wifi, this would be a good place to stay.
Paid for 4 stars, but received non of the service. During 7 day stay, not even once room was cleaned. On day fourth asked reception to clean the room, they said today is too late will do it tommorrow - never happened. Once I saw the condition of the room, I lost my interest to go and see a pool. Location is 10 minutes away from Effel tower but street sticks as loitlet and my girlfriend got afraid of rat size of a grown cat.
This was a modern european sized hotel/apartment with everything we needed to explore Paris, France. Plus, a romantic view of the Eiffel Tower from our window. It was very easy to get to many things, especially the Eiffel Tower, Rue Cler, Invalides, and a short trip to everything else. The location is quite, clean, with AC and an American shower, and near several decent restaurants. I would stay again.
Large and light apartment. great location close to Metro, RER and the Eiffel Tower. If you are lucky you see the Eiffel tower from the room. Very helpful Hotel staff. A general great experience. Highly recommended.
Pros: Clean. Roomy. Chic. Near Eiffel Tower. Relatively close to the Metro. Shuttle service to the airport, but it did cost extra. Cons: Rooms were very hot even with AC "full" blast. No wifi available. Large ugly tower blocking view of Eiffel Tower from the room.
EXCELLANT HOTEL, VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. I WOULD VERY HIGHLY RECOMEND IT. LARGE ROOMS AND GREAT VIEWS OF THE CITY.
Staff was not familar with directions to nearby attractions, no concierge to asist with tours, although the website indicated room cleaning, we were there 4 days and the room was not cleaned once. Because the hotel is small, there was no, literally no, taxi availibility. The staff sent us to a hotel two blocks away to catch a cab. Cabs had no idea where the hotel was to return us back at night. The phone number we were given by the hotel was for reservaions which closed at 7 PM so there was no way to get someone at the hotel after 7 PM. Staff was not very helpful. Walls in the room were bare - no pictures, close to the river but not on the river as the website indicates.
Stayed in one bedroom aparhotel. Very, very nice, modern, clean, outstanding view from 25th floor. Would definately stay in same place, great for longer stays since some units include range, dishwasher, mini-fridge, and plates, pans, glasses, everything! tres bien!
