Beautiful hotel! Gorgeous lobby, super clean and spacious rooms with great amenities, friendly staff, and in a great part of the city.
Wish they wouldn't use energy management on the AC quite as much. Couldn't get the room to cool down much. Liked the service level, but the hotel bar always(day or night) had euro-techno club music playing. The place seemed to fit a kind of "classical" look. Overall I'd rate it 4.5 on a 5 scale.
The stay was actually for a co-worker but she stated the hotel was great. Very acceptable.
Staff very eager to assist, answer questions and most importantly display a genuine concern for the guest.
Wonderful staff and location. Internet connection was problematic. Inspite of the renovation efforts, the prices were a bit high.
Hotel is under construction and overall experience is poor.
Although location is excellent but rates are expensive cleanliness is very bad
In general the hotel was good. It is renewed, the lobby is great. But the noise level from adjacent rooms are too high. That means if you have noisy neighbors ( which we had 1 night) you can hear all their moves, even the toilet flushes. Also be careful about bus boys. While we are leaving, he insisted on arranging a taxi for us. He had us waited for a while even tough there are 10 taxis in front of hotel. Later on we recognized that he is looking for a taxi driver from whom he can take some gratitute. At the end, he selected one and he took 5 euros from him in front of us. Not sure taxi driver added that amount to our bill.
stayed with my son for 3 nights to enjoy Paris. very comfortable hotel. friendly reception staff, all spoke english very well. centrally located, a couple blocks from gallery Lafayette. right next to the Metro stop Gare St. Lazare. lots of great restaurants nearby. asked the Concierge who send us to Bourgogne Sud, where we had an excellent classic French dinner. Probably best entrecote ever and reasonably priced! overall a very nice stay and good experience
Great experience.no problem with the réservation. We travel to Paris frequently and were extremely satisfied . The staff was most helpful Very clean The hotel atmosphere is what we expected: old charm elegance. Perfectly located next to the " Grands Magasins" (Printemps et Galeries LaFayette)' , The Opéra and. walking distance to the Roissy bus , subway station and train station The breakfast buffet was good but overpriced. There are some eateries across the hotel. We will go back there, providing the price does not climb.
I was at the hotel for 2 days. This is an old building that has been renovated. Although some things remain kind of old, the overall look is great. The location is very good, a lot of restaurants around. The staff is also very helpful, specially the concierge, which in a city like Paris is quite useful. The room is not big, but this is Europe! but is enough to be quite comfortable. I looked for a lot of options and for the price this is good value. I would stay there again.
