I brought my parents and 15 year old son to Paris and it was recommended to us that we stay in this area. I was thrilled with the location, near shops, restaurants, Notre Dame, Sienne, a 15 minute walk to the Louvre. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are not huge but who spends much time in their hotel room in Paris? My ONLY complaint about the hotel is that the elevator was small (4 people max) so we did have to wait to get to our room a couple of times. Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here on our next visit!

Nice place near shopping, restaurants and Metro. Small rooms but we were able to get adjoining rooms for the family.

The staff was very helpful overall nice experience

The Hotel Trianon was perfect for my 7-day stay in Paris. The staff are friendly, helpful and courteous. It is very "French" with its beautiful staindglass-lined stairwell and has certain feeling that says "you are among Parisians now." During my visit there were a few rainy days and the lobby provided umbrellas to all the guests. There is a little bar with wine and champagne for sale. Also in the lobby is a coffee maker and in the morning, fresh Orange juice and water is available. I never had breakfast in the dining room downstairs but I did order breakfast to be delivered to my room. It was delicious and timely. Now, I want you to know that I am extremely spoiled and like hotels like the Number One Hotel in South Beach. Look it up. But just being in Paris with my daughter and her newly-made Parisian friends, I was pretty happy with anything.Lol! This hotel is decent, safe, in a safe neighborhood and close to shopping. You can take Uber, the bus, or the Metro with no problem, to just about anywhere. As a woman traveling alone ALL of these things a very important! Oh and another thing this American girl appreciated was the AC!! Superbe!

Just steps from the main plaza of the University of Paris, it is within easy walking distance of so many historical sites and tourist destinations. There is also easy access to the subway nearby. As a first time visitor to Paris, I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The building is old but charming. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel staff were very kind and helpful. I had always heard that Parisians were not particularly friendly! That was not my experience at the hotel or any other spot in Paris. The hotel is also close to so many places to enjoy a bite to eat. If I were planning another trip to Paris, I would definitely consider staying here again.

. . . the rooms themselves were disappointing. We had a triple room and the air conditioner dripped on the bed closest to the wall most of the time. There was lipstick and coffee on one of the supposedly clean coffee mugs and they didn't replace one that we had used with a clean one. Room and hallway had a stale smell. One of the bedside lights was burnt out the whole time we were there. They offered one bottle of water, which was really just a glass bottle with tap water in it. Beds were comfortable, except for the wet one. Didn't have their breakfast -- it was expensive.

We booked this hotel as it was close to Notre Dame and not too far from the Metro. I am glad we did. On a vacation like this we just need a place to crash at night. As some reviewers have stated the rooms are small but I think that is just part of Paris in general. The Hotel is a bit older but in a charming kind of way and not a run down kind of way. There is a tiny elevator that goes up and is surrounded by the staircase reminds me of and old fashioned movie. The hotel charged over ten euro for breakfast which we found was steep but there are plenty of pâtisseries nearby with a croissant and a espresso for a couple of euros. Can't beat that. We were able to get onto the Metro pretty easily as well to see all the sights. Close enough to walk everywhere but a nice train ride for sore feet. The staff was very good and they took care of our AC issues quickly. The street we were on was rather quiet (although you could hear the occasional police siren and the people next store). This hotel fit our needs perfectly for our quick get away.

Rooms were nice and clean. They are small but we didn't need anything big since we were out all day everyday being tourists. It's a cute intimate setting and a convenient location.

Hotel is in a great location. Room is small, but we were hardly there. Staff was very friendly. Would stay there again and would recommend it to friends and family.

My wife and I stayed in the hotel 5 nights and it was very close to Perfect! Great place to sleep, recharge and go see the city over and over again The hotel is very easy to reach and it sits right in the middle of Latin quarter. There are so many beautiful places in 3-5 min walk around to eat, to see and to absorb unique Parisienne spirit. Not mention 20 min walk gives you a handful of Paris' gems: Notr Dame, Louvre, Invalides. D'Orsey, Pantheon, Montparnasse, Luxembourg and so many more! Hotel is very decent, clean, no smell, well kept. This is not a huge venue, everything is small but cozy. Breakfast in hotel a bit overpriced but very convenient and saves you time if you have busy day ahead, otherwise eat outside, each place has it's little thing (check Le Creperie by Pantheon). Hotel staff super friendly, helpful and professional, rooms cleaned every day. Airport transfer cheaper then Uber, fast and reliable

I've had the pleasure of staying at Trianon Rive Gauche twice. Each time I've found the staff to be welcoming, the rooms comfortable, and the experience authentic. Highly recommended.

This hotel is in an excellent location. The Reception staff are courteous and accomodating. They gave us a room with an excellent view. I would say the rooms were too small, however they are ALL like that in Paris. There is a flight of steps to reach the elevator and the elevator only fits about 2 people (you must want to be really close). If you stay on the top floor, 7, there is an additional flight of steps from 6. The breakfast was excellent. The rooms was lovely (but tiny). The blowdryer wasn't great so leave extra time. We had our 10 yr old daughter, and she had her own bed in the room. My only compliant about this hotel is that the service of the rooms were not good. First day, we returned from sightseeing all day to find NO toilet paper in our room, the towel we left in the tub was not replaced and during our two day stay did not see one bar of soap. We had to wash our hands with the shower gel. the water was not refreshed. In addition (and this really grossed me out), the lobby restroom never had any hand soap. Yuck. Other than that, if you just make sure you get the supplies you need, I would recommend the hotel. The staff were generally very nice and as mentioned the location was great. We walked to the Eiffel Tower, Louvre and Notre Dame, with no problem. Note, Eiffel Tower was about 50 min walk.

A mid-size hotel in the center of the Quartier Latin. Terrific location, near the Jardins du Luxembourg, Place de l'Odéon and blvd. St-Michel. Not too far from Notre-Dame and ile St-Louis. Very good restaurants all around. Close to several métro stations and the RER line to Charle de Gaule airport. Nice rooms (with various sizes and shapes). Friendly staff with good English. Breakfast is "ordinary". A little too expensive for what it is.

I was looking for a hotel that's away from the business of Paris but yet accessible to it within Metro/bus distance. I was also looking for a bed ( or two beds combined) that would fit my partner who's 6'5'' Surprisingly the beds were comfortable and we had lots of space. As expected the hotel room would not be spacious however we had the 3rd bed on the side , this gave us some extra space to put our belongings. The hotel staff had good knowledge of English. Some spoke more fluently, and some had stronger accent. Overall, I saw that they all tried to as helpful as they could.

We stayed at at the Trianon during our visit to Paris. The staff was superb, and the location was excellent. The room was not fancy, but the mattress was extremely comfortable. The terrace table and chairs was a treat, as well. All in all, a very good value for the money.

The hotel was an excellent choice for a quick weekend trip. The location was close to three metro stations which go all around the city, around the corner from the open air bus stop and walkable to Notre Dame, the Louvre and Saint Chapelle. A good choice of restaurants within a block of the hotel. We loved the areas residential feel and not so many tourists. The hotel was clean and the staff most helpful. We would stay here again..

Great Location. Near Notre Dame and just next to Latin Quarter, without the Latin quarter noise. Hotel is ok. King size bed was very nice, but small rooms, paper thin walls and just plain oldness keep this hotel at most a 4 star. The price we paid was the lowest we could find in the area.

When we go to Paris again (because once isn't enough!!!), we want to stay at this same place! We loved to have diner across the street - Plaza August Conte, right behind Sorbonne University, a very calm coul-de-sac - in any of those Parisian cafes, where the waiters don't care about check you out (even if the place is crowed we local people!)

We choose this hotel because of all the good internet reviews; and I appreciated the manager's response to the reviews. This attention to customer service certainly carries over to the hotel itself. We arrived at hotel before check-in but our room was ready and Sabrina checked us in right away - this was very much appreciated! Sabrina spoke English well and was very pleasant to deal with throughout our stay. In the evening, Loic was the best at the desk - he was very friendly, spoke excellent English and was simply a personable guy. He always had a cheerful Bon Jour when we returned to the hotel after a long, tiring day of sightseeing. Some would consider this a little thing but when you are in a foreign place, full of strangers and the customs and language are different from your own, any opportunity to feel like someone knows you is nice. We wish these two much success. I also have to mention the IMPECCABLE room service at this hotel. Each night the room/bathroom was clutter-free and spotlessly clean when we returned. We stayed for 8 nights and this was consistent. Thank you! We used the room-safe but probably didn't need it - The two iMacs in the lobby were very convenient, fast and no problems connecting or printing. Same for the in-room wireless service. The hotel is very convenient to sites in the area, even within walking distance of Notre-Dame when we had the energy! I don't consider these comments as "Cons" - just typical of Parisian hotels: smaller rooms, a bit of street noise from window, furniture a bit dated and we could hear the loud guest next door for the two nights he was there. But overall these things didn't diminish our opinion of the hotel. The only thing I wish was different was the lack of air conditioning. It wasn't turned on for the season yet. The weather warmed and the room was a bit stuffy in the evening. We couldn't sleep with windows open because of the street noise - air conditioning would have been nice to clear our stuffy noses! For our honeymoon we just wanted someplace safe, convenient and reliable so we could focus on Paris and not worry about the small stuff and that is what happened.

It was my first time in Paris and I chose that hotel because of its location. It is walking distance to Luxembourg station that takes you to and from the airport in about 30 minutes and also the hotel is around metro(underground). That is very important in Paris since driving around is almost all the time in traffic. It is about 15 minutes by foot to Notre Dam and close to other great locations. The rooms have air conditioning, which is a key factor especially in summer and most importantly they are clean.
