Very kind and courteous staff!! Even though she read very busy checking people in, she made it a point to be sure e as ch per sc on understood the various features as well as attending to putting fresh cookies out.
As a young female traveling alone I felt safe. The room and amenities were very clean and comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was that the curtains couldn't be completely closed and there was a street light outside the window.
Comfortable room with lots of space. The bathroom could use some updating but was ok. Great value with breakfast included. Had waffles and a different egg option everyday. The man who ran the breakfast room was very friendly and helpful. Pool area was nice.
As expected, staff was pleasant and courteous. This is second stay at this hotel and will surely stay again in the future. We asked for directions for a specific store and we were given printed directions. O Reilly's was very enjoyable. Great food, friendly service.
The ladies at the front desk went above and beyond to welcome me and compensate for terrible housekeeping. Returned to room at 7pm, the room was still not made up. Had to wait in the lobby while they made up the room, which took 45 min because housekeeping wasnt available. Returned to room to find my personal travel mug was gone (I travel for a living, so I bring a mug with me to make morning coffee in the room more like home). Front desk found my mug, which was very nice to hear. Woke up the next morning to discover no creamer/sugar packets replenished, coffee pot still dirty and it just added stress to what should have been relaxing.
Overall the room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the only negative comment I have is breakfast. There needs to be a better way to get the crowd flowing in the breakfast room. My husband, the couple with us, and the other couple at our table all said the same thing about the crowd in the breakfast room and how difficult it was to even get a cup of coffee -- extreme slow lines, too crowded, etc. etc.
Our room was comfortable, and the breakfasts were delicious. The new owners Don and Ellen have taken over this B&B with enthusiasm and we enjoyed chatting with them. A nice relaxing place to stay!
Just what we expected. Spacious clean room. Accommodating staff. The only complaint would be the hard mattressses.
