The space is exactly as advertised. Bring sandals to go between the loft and the studio and to get out to the hot tub!The views from the hot tub were top notch. The studio doesn't have its own heating element and we found it a bit cold so we slept in the loft, but if you're going to need both keep that in mind. There isn't a dedicated spot to dry dishes either so know that. Overall we loved the location, the host was nice and communicated well with us. Thank you!

Absolutely stunning view, both day and night. Lucky to have gotten this spot during lovely weather so it was so clear that Salesforce Tower could be seen across the bay and we checked in right before sunset and watched the sun go down. Lukas was very nice and responsive and had the hot tub ready for us after check in. The garden was a lovely hang out spot for our pack of 4 and we enjoyed a soak and some wine while taking in the view and guessing. The cabin has a large window on the ground floor and loft to see the view. Both rooms were clean with coffee maker, fridge, bonus snacks, and some toiletries. Location is about a 15 minute Uber away from Jack London Square and the arena/coliseum area. You do have to go through the "front" of the house to get to both rooms in the backyard but is otherwise private and the rooms are literally three steps apart. Our entire group agreed that we would definitely stay here again.

The two rooms we stayed at were great, providing both me and my friends space and privacy. The cabin with loft was such a lovely space to be in and relax. We all really appreciated the hot tub to relax in at the end of a long day and the view was so gorgeous. It was easy to communicate with Lukas and he was very accommodating to our needs. It was simple enough to have our dog with us and used a side panel fence to separate areas between the front and backyards. To use the bathroom you do have to go through the other bedroom which was ok for our situation. I would recommend the mattress be updated for the room attached to the bathroom. Parking was easy on the street and the neighborhood felt very safe, quiet and peaceful. My friends and I would definitely love to return to this spot in the future.

Cute and Convenient

I was only there for one evening. I wanted to be close to the Oakland airport for my Monday mid morning flight to avoid traffic. It’s a perfect place for that. No need to get on the freeway and just a short 4-5 mile drive down the hill. Very pretty area too. Oh and the water pressure for the shower was awesome and heats up quick. Thank you again for a very convenient and peaceful stay! I will stay again when in the area.

Confusing

We wanted to love this property but it was all a bit confusing. Guests have to walk past the main house to get to the rental and the owners were in the house watching us. It made us feel like we had no privacy. Then we found that cabin does not have a bathroom, so you have to go into the other property to use the bathroom. This was fine but confusing. Overall the property could be a Bohemian gem but the garden was overgrown and unkempt which was uninviting. However, the neighborhood was good and the view is beautiful it's just not exactly what we pictured.

unpleasant living condition

There is only one bathroom. Other two members of our group have to pass through our bedroom to use the bathroom. Our bed makes noise during use and there is unpleasant smell near bed area.

Lovely, quirky little place

I only stayed for a quick overnight, so can't speak to the neighborhood. But the space was all I needed, and the hosts made check-in super easy. Parking right in front was super nice, and the view from the detached cabin was peaceful.

Charming cabin within good distance of everything

So charming! The studio bed was very comofrtable and the cabin part was soooo cozy. The garden is beautiful and the view of the city at night was breathtaking. Would absolutely stay here again.
