The room smelled terrible!!! Someone must have cooked some potent food before, it was almost unbearable! Also the bed is so uncomfortable we decided to wake up early and leave and miss our concert just so we could go home and get some sleep.

You'd like a kitchen, right? That's what we all like about Extended Stay. But this won't doesn't come with dishes. Not a bowl, not a fork. Not a coffee maker. No blow dryer or washcloths either. What's the point? Go camping - you'll have more fun. And don't rely on the 'complimentary breakfast' because it's instant oatmeal or a packaged muffin - not a stitch of whole food, not even real cream for your coffee. I was able to acquire a few things over time from the staff. But if you stay here, prepare to go without for at least your first day and ask for everything from the front desk - no rooms are automatically supplied, I was told.

When I checked in I was not asked if I wanted a smoking room. We were put on the 4th floor which had a strong cigarette smell when we exited the elevator. We asked for another room but were told there weren't any. The next day we left with our luggage, clothes and hair smelling like smoke and I felt like I had smoked a pack through the night.

I forgot this was an extended stay when booked. Great location near the water. Free wifi, parking, & grab and go breakfast were a nice bonus.

Relaxing as it is away from the city noise, but close enough to move around. Wife and I slept comfortably.

The room was nice overall, especially with the kitchen with full refrigerator. The only drawback to that was there is no ice machine in the hotel so we had to wait a couple hours for the water in the ice trays to freeze, which was a huge annoyance. Also, our room was missing a coffee maker and iron. There was one cup in the bathroom, but I was able to get two cups from the front desk. The other negative aspect was the bed. I guess I'm spoiled but it was really hard and did not have any type of pillow top. The location was perfect and the staff was very friendly.

Loved the kitchenette! It was clean, had basic supplies which is all we needed, a two burner stove and a full size refrigerator/freezer. The room was well laid out.

T.v lower than bed. Small. Staff didn't respond promptly to our needs wanted us to come down when they were supposed to bring things up to us.. Tried to put us in a room on first floor with ppl headlights shining through the window. Nice area though.

location was wonderful !! easy to get in/out of. near the highway as well. Hotel near the docks so great scenery for afternoon walks.

This place was nice and quiet with a beautiful view of the Marina! Close to the SF Bay Ferry.

For the price - this place is just okay. It's not fancy and you won't feel like you're on vacation in any way but if you need a cheap place to sleep that's also right on a lovely marina - this is the place for you. The staff was great but the hotel needs an update pretty badly. And it's dog friendly which can be hard to come by at this price point.

The hotel was better than we expected. I will look to stay with Extended Stay hotels in the future. Very convenient and we felt safe.

We had trouble with our GPS directing us to the hotel accurately. We called the hotel and Ruella went out of her way to direct us safely to our location.

The hotel is directly on the marina with beautiful views of the inlet from one side. Although we had not requested it, early check-in was unavailable. Most often if a hotel has a clean room they will allow it. Once we were able to check in the room was very clean spacious and bright. Upon searching for the ice machine I was told by the front desk that none was available but there was an ice cube tray in the freezer in my room that the morning. Apart from that the following morning breakfast was provided but there was no one at the front desk for about 45 min. I'm thinking that they had the desk clerk doing double duty preparing the breakfast, odd.

I've been coming to this hotel for years. They've gradually stripped it of all amenities. They don't even have any plates in the room anymore and you have to "check them out" like library books. There wasn't even a plastic laundry bag! The staff are rude. The breakfast is a joke. All they put our are apples, granola bars and instant oatmeal. On top of everything else we requested a non smoking room. When we asked to have the room moved we were told that if we booked through their site we could have been moved but since we used another site we couldn't. Ridiculous!!

Hotel smoked of cigarette smoke loud talking in the wee hours of two and 3 o'clock in the morning room was quite boring typical one star They welcome dogs and dogs were barking in the room next to me Almost not likely to return

We were attending a wedding party at the winery nearby, so I booked a studio suite with two queen beds, but got two full beds instead. First hotel with I've been to that had NO glassware nor cups. All you get in the bathroom is a tiny bar of hand soap. Everything had to be requested at the front desk. Though it was nice to have a refrigerator, it would have been better to have ice in the freezer. The trays were empty and there is no ice machine at the hotel. Overall a comfortable place to sleep, but nothing special about this place for the amount they charge. It is on the marina, so there's a nice view. The check-in staff was sweet, but the Saturday morning front staff seemed annoyed at all the guests, as I observed while having my watered down coffee in the lounge.

Staff was very professional & helpful. Room was clean except the tub didn't look clean nor the dishes. I've stayed here before and there was a hair dryer, soap, shampoo etc in the room. I had to call and ask for these items. At the very least there should be a bar of soap to wash your hands.

If you are looking for a place to stay that is simple, this place is fine. There was nothing special or surprisingly bad. The room was clean, staff were polite, and the location is great if you have a car and know where you are going. There is nothing within walking distance, but you are just a short drive to "downtown" Alameda, Jack London Square in Oakland, and about a 20 minute drive from SF. There is a marina just outside the hotel.

The hotel photos show some rooms upgraded with new linens and such, but I didn't get one and I was told all the beds are pretty much the same when I tried to switch after the first night. The bed was old and lumpy, the linens very old and suspect and the pillows were also old and thin. The internet (which was $4.99 for your stay) was super slow; according to the front desk the whole hotel shares one IP address...that was probably the issue. Would probably pay a little more to get a better bed and faster internet somewhere else.

We appreciate you being our guest and apologize for the inconvenience you experienced. Our front desk always communicates details on our amenities during check-in, and it appears as if we missed sharing this information on your arrival. To ensure cleanliness for every guest, we keep the dishware at our front desk and our team is happy to deliver them to the guest's suite. Being an extended stay hotel, most of our guests often bring their own bath amenities such as hairdryers and toiletries. These items are available and complimentary at the front desk at any time. Your feedback is appreciated, and we will be sure our front desk communicates this more clearly going forward. Thank you again, and we hope to welcome you back soon.   Sincerely, General Manager
