I am very disappointed, frustrated and upset. After a long day, we were tired, ready to rest only to find out that there is nobody in the front desk to check us in and the door was locked, this was 1015pm. We tried to call the emergency number posted if help is needed, no answer.30 mins passed still no one came with plenty of people with us waiting, I called customer service,it’s unfortunate that they can’t do anything but to call FD but no answer. We finally called police to get help, after 2 hours around 1230sh am we were transferred to nearest Extended Stay america, expecting to have our previous reservation honored, No, they made us pay again!!! So frustrating!!! but because we were tired we needed to rest, we just paid the room. But never again to stay in this hotel ever! Very bad customer service! Stay away if you’ll take my advice.
Skip by this property if you can. The desk attendant had to go make sure the room was clean. She failed to tell us the nonsmoking room was actually smoked in upon returning from the room. Carpets were stained and was definitely not vacuumed in a long time. No cabinet doors in the kitchen. Toilet seat broken. Surfaces were not cleaned as well. Tough stay here.
The hotel took my money but did not have a room for me. I had to go to opposite side of town to get a room at different location, pay for that room as well.
Great staff. Easy check in. Nice rooms. Enjoyed my stay.
We were going to see Phish at Hampton Coliseum. This hotel is perfect for that kind of trip. We stayed three nights. About 15 minutes from Coliseum but place is right next to a shopping center that has a grocery store and a few places to eat. Also, Harpoon Larry's around the corner was good.
First hotel that doesn't have a staff member on site 24 hrs a day after 11 pm it's a free for all. The place needs a very through scrubbing and more cleaning staff because my room didn't get cleaned while I was there no fresh towels unless you go get them but I guess you get what you pay for....
The staff was very helpful and polite made me feel at home and welcome
Price slightly high. Great room cleanliness. Full kitchenettes in rooms. Office only open limited hours, no late night walk in availability. Only 1 elevator available & no where near our room. Had to climb 3 flights of stairs often.
Room needed some touch up bathroom should be cleaner, small but enough room for one person, close to shopping and overall quiet good room for the price
We arrived at 11PM and there were several police cars in the lot. I had intentionally tried to find a hotel that wasn't in a terrible neighborhood as we were just driving through. The office was locked and we needed to use the phone in the breezeway, which didn't work. The woman who was there for the night had no idea what she was doing, informing us that she had no idea how to use a computer. Whether it was just inability to check us in or the distractions caused by whatever incident was taking place outside we definitely wondered if it was even worth it to stay. Having already paid for the room using the mobile app we were committed to sticking around. When we finally got into the room and locked the door I sat down on the bed. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and only had 2 pillows for 2 people (no spares were around and I wasn't planning on calling the desk.) The remote control for the tv didn't work either! We slept (I use that term loosely) with the light on and got out as soon as the sun came up. NEVER will I ever stay there again!
The hotel was fine. They had some confusion merging my two reservations, but everything else was satisfactory.
Everything was fine - average. Nothing special but comfortable enough.
i attended the Air Power over Hampton Roads Airshow on 2 occasions.
the place was very old filthy carpet filthy old chair filthy mattress and box springs I felt like i was in an old camp. The pictures on net was nothing like the room. I will never stay there again
