the staff was overwhelmed but did thier best! always polite and patient even though i witnessed other guests being curt and unpleasant. as to the property- the tv didnt work in room and i wasnt sure the door was ever properly locked. the elevator made me very nervous but at least the sheets were clean and the room ac worked.

My wife stayed at this hotel based on its proximity to LaGuardia airport. She wishes she hadn't. The room was not clean, the television did not work, the area seemed unsafe, the walls were thin, and the staff seemed sketchy. She said it felt like the kind of place people would meet for trysts rather than for legitimate accommodations.

My room was a mess. Only 1 pillow on a king sized bed, lamp shades missing, wall paper was peeling, and overall felt very unclean in the room. The worst part was that I was woken up at 12:00am, 1:30am, 2:00am and 3:00am by another guest screaming in the hallways, banging on doors and slamming doors. There was no intervention by hotel staff and I honestly felt quite scared and unsafe. I would not recommend this hotel or go back.

It looked like someone had been laying on the bed - the right side pillows were wrinkled and sunken. the ironing board was out - someone had used the room. the room smelled of mildew and mold. the carpet was filthy. I got in very late and took the room due to a flight cancellation - I was too tired to try to get a change. I would like a refund if at all possible. I requested a shuttle for the morning upon checking in. in the morning, the new guy said no reservation was made. terrible experience!

Close to LaGuardia Airport. Expect to find a bug in your room.

This hotel was absolutely horrible, very dirty entry door dirty the carpet and the hallway spelled like cat urine, the elevator was all banged up, and the room was terrible smelled really bad, the shower would not drain after my shower I was standing in mid shin water and by the time the other person was finished taking a shower it was almost over top of bathtub. the hotel looked like a flea bitten / back alley / where people go for pleasure / Orbitz really needs to take it off of their website. Even the bartender at the bar down the road stated that it was going to be turned into a shelter. thank you

Bed was terrible. Sink in the middle. Room not very clean.

Too many bed bug bites, room was fumigated, smell horrible, no beds, was dirty. Requested different room. Employee was very rude I was told if not happy w/ the room to leave. I stated I was going to file a complaint. Didn't leave because you had charged my credit card.

The bathroom was clean, the bed was nice. Overall a decent hotel to stay the night. Problem 1: There was a rat in the room. A cute little furry thing that I didn't care for but it freaked my girl out. She refused to step on the floor afterwards. Problem 2: There are a bunch of people drunk/high hanging outside the lobby. Made it feel a bit unsafe. Minor problem 3: The TV was terrible. Very static-y and barely watchable. With the exception of the 3 issues above, this hotel is pretty nice.

We had booked the hotel with Orbitz. Due to the whether, our flight was cancelled. I called the hotel Friday 7/14, asked them to hold our reservation though we would be arriving after midnight. The person who talked to us then said okay, don't worry, we've got you. When I arrived after midnight and called them, they said they had no one registered by my name. There was apparently no communication between the shifts. I want my money back.

The hotel is very old and has bad condition and facility. The room air conditioner cannot be adjusted with relevant buttons removed. Floors seem never vacuumed and the blanket is full of holes likely resulting from smoking. Checkin was very slow. The only good part is that this hotel is very close to LGA.

Very good and cozy service is expediant and good for a few nigh.
